  • Adam Lambert just reminded us all that he was doing Gender Fluid waayyy before Piers Morgan was getting all angst about it

8 years ago… Piers… Genderfluidity is not new.

So another week another outrage about gender fluidity from Piers Morgan… It happens a lot on twitter.

Well, our favourite American Idol legend, Adam Lambert reminded us that he was going gender fluid waayyyy before Piers was getting his knickers in a twist about it.

Taking to Instagram, Adam shared two covers from his first ever album, For Your Entertainment, saying, “I was feelin my gender fluid (and fully photoshopped) glam rock fantasy.”

The album, Adam’s first, was released 8 years ago.

Giving some insight about his first release, Adam revealed that many retailers were actually “uncomfortable” with the initial cover and the record label cowed to them, providing a second image for the cover.

He said, “The powers that be released a second cover for retailers who felt ‘uncomfortable’ w the original. (Even though I was still fully painted) Hahha seems so funny now…. but just 8 yrs ago it was a much different climate.”

We’re not so sure Adam… that the climate is that different, judging by comments by Piers.

  • This doctor thinks he can “cure” homosexuality

Meet Doctor Davidson, he thinks he can cure us…

This doctor thinks he can "cure" homosexuality

Right people, we’re calling in sick, because this doctor clearly believes that we can be cured.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain this (formerly gay) Doctor asked where the evidence that homosexuality is “innate” and “unchangeable” was.  Apparently, Doctor Mike Davidson helps up to 14 people a WEEK “locate the trauma that triggered their homosexual feelings”.

    He said,

“I believe that people are not born gay, that they come into homosexual feelings, and that it is something that in some cases is reversible for people who want to make that the trajectory of their lives.

“It’s inconsistent with some people’s value systems and they want to be true to themselves. I think we’re here today because there’s clearly a population group who feel they are not comfortable with homosexual expression, and they want out of it”.

The doctor claims he’s turned away from homosexuality by prayer, counselling and psychotherapy – and has been married to his wife for 35 years.

Piers Morgan, who was presenting the show, along with Susanna Ried, literally burst…

“We have a word for people like you in this country. We call them bigots! In my view, you are a malevolent and dangerous part of our society!

“What’s wrong with you? Who are you to say such things?

“Do you really think homosexuality is something that needs to be cured? Why don’t you shut up, you old bigot! This is utterly ridiculous!”

“Has it crossed your bigoted mind that gay people may not want to find your path? Maybe they are quite happy being gay and don’t want to be ‘cured of this abomination’ because that is deeply offensive!

“Why don’t you put a cork in it? I’ve had enough, Dr Michael, just shut up!”

  • Is Piers Morgan gay?

Piers Morgan is one of the hosts of the daily morning show, Good Morning Britain and famous for his direct and frank questioning… but there’s one question that people are asking, is Piers Morgan gay?

    Is Piers Morgan gay?

Piers Morgan, 52, has a frank manner about him and his line of questioning is often seen as frank and intrusive, which is,  no doubt down to his long-term experience working at some of the world’s most prominent and powerful news outlets including, the Daily Mirror, the Sun and CNN.

In 1991 Pier Morgan married a woman called Marion Shalloe and together they have three sons. However, the couple divorced in 2008 and he remarried his second wife, Celia Walden – a newspaper features writer and columnist. So, it appears that Piers Morgan does not identify as gay.

However, Mr Morgan has been, at times, a strong vocal advocate for the gay community and was very critical of Tim Farron during the 2017 General Election for the Lid Dem leader’s inability to answer questions over whether gay sex was a sin or not.

During 2008 there was a debate on American TV as to whether Piers was gay, a contestant on the US version of Celebrity Apprentice alleged that Piers Morgan was in the closet, because he had asked fellow contestants to take their shirts off during tasks. This caused the then Apprentice boss Donald Trump to ask the question, “You’re calling Piers a homosexual? “I wonder what he thinks of that?” He asked Piers to reenter the board room.

Piers, however, fanned the flames, by kissing a 6 foot 7 Cowboy, Country singer, Trace Adkins in front of the cameras saying, “I’ve always loved a beautiful cowboy” as a joke.

It’s fair to say Trace looked less than pleased.

  • Piers Morgan condemns LGBT charity Stonewall as bigoted and “Piers-phobic”

Piers has hit back at the UK’s largest LGBT charity, Stonewall after a spokesperson condemned his interview of a non-binary couple as “deeply damaging and offensive”.

non-binary couple interview with Piers Morgan

This morning, Piers interviewed non-binary couple Fox and Owl, who were using the opportunity to explain gender identities to Piers Morgan on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. However, the interview was slammed by many watching the programme for Piers’ approach to the subject.

Stonewall was asked to comment on the interview.

Speaking to PinkNews a spokesperson for Stonewall, said that Mr Morgan was ““deeply damaging and offensive”.

    The charity added,

“No-one has the right to deny another person’s gender identity, and to mock them for trying to live an authentic life is a form of bullying and completely unacceptable.”

It didn’t take long for Mr Morgan to take a swipe at the charity. He criticised Stonewall, calling them bigoted and “Piers-phobic” after they accused him of bullying on screen.

During the show, after both Fox and Owl explained their identity and how they define themselves, Piers had a problem with understanding and asked,

“I’m happy to be persuaded if it makes logical sense – but if you can identify as anything, where does it end?

“Is anything fine? Can I be an elephant? Can I now go to London Zoo and demand to be put in the elephant enclosure?”

The interview then turned to the subject of non-binary prisons and where, if Fox or Owl were to break the law, they should be incarcerated. Owl told Piers that a women’s prison would be preferable to the men’s. Piers responded that gender was fine “if it’s convenient”.

Commenting on the online discussion surrounding the appearance of Fox and Owl on ITV, Stonewall CEO Ruth Hunt tweeted,

  • Twitter users are not happy with Piers Morgan after Non Binary interview

Piers Morgan attracts the ire of Twitter users after a combative interview with a non-binary couple.

Pier Morgan is being criticised for the way he handled an interview with a couple who identify as non-binary. The couple, Fox and Owl were being interviewed on Good Morning Britain on ITV. You may remember Fox from Channel 4’s My Transsexual Summer.

“Fox and Owl” has been trending in the UK after a segment called “The Gender Debate” saw host Piers Morgan ask if he could identify as an elephant and London Zoo.

The interview was dubbed “inanely cruel”, disrespectful and “ill-formed”

Owl also pointed out the discussion surrounding non-binary individuals wasn’t about erasing gender.

    Owl said,

“It’s not about erasing gender, nobody is saying people can’t be men and women – we’re also saying people can be non-binary”.
