Cabaret
A young Englishman comes to Berlin in the early 30s seeking inspiration for a novel. He meets Sally Bowls, an American girl working in a Cabaret bar, and gets more inspiration than he can handle. Based on the best-selling book The Berlin Stories by Christopher Isherwood, and somewhat biographical, Cabaret is an a times light-hearted, and at other times quite poignant look at love, loss, and the turning mood of a country on the edge of war.
