What does Misgendering mean?
Misgendering is when someone accidentally or deliberately refers to a person with the wrong gender pronoun. It can happen to cisgender and transgender people.
Referring to a trans woman as “he” saying “him” or “his” or a trans man as a “she” or “her” is misgendering.
It is considered deeply offensive to some trans people – especially if the misgendering is done with malice or deliberately.

Housemates have misgendered India Willoughby numerous times since she went in
India Willoughby has been misgendered by numerous housemates, numerous times since entering the Big Brother house.
Do the housemates have an issue with recognising India Willoughby‘s gender? It seems so after Ann Widdecombe, Rachel Johnson and Amanda Barrie all misgendered the newscaster.
The latest incident happened when Corrie legend Amanda Barrie who herself is also part of the LGBT+ community misgendered India in a discussion in the living room. India accused Amanda of misgendering her twice – and noted that the second time actually Amanda chuckled about it afterwards.
India said that she took great offence to the misgendering. Amanda said that she apologised deeply.
India said that an apology was “not enough” and explained how upset it made her.
Last night viewers of Rylan’s Bit On The Side were shocked when footage not shown in the main programme showed Rachel Johnson also misgendering India.
Ann Widdecombe was the first celebrity to call India a “he” in a moment for which the former politician apologised for.
Ann waded into the discussion and said that if the misgendering wasn’t deliberate an apology was always enough. 
Since being in the house, India has talked openly and frequently about her transition and being transgender. She took a swipe at those who identify as non-binary saying, that she considered people who were “Bob on Monday and Barbara on Tuesday” cheapened the transgender experience.
India was not impressed with Ann’s interruption and said that an apology was not enough and that being misgender was deeply offensive.

Author of Eat Pray Love Elizabeth Gibert mourns the death of her girlfriend
“She was my love, my heart, my best friend, my teacher”
The author of Eat, Pray Love has paid a moving tribute to her partner, Rayya Elias after she died of pancreatic cancer.
Taking to Instagram she wrote, “She was my love, my heart, my best friend, my teacher, my rebel, my angel, my protector, my challenger, my partner, my muse, my wizard, my surprise, my gift, my comet, my liberator, my rock star, my completely impossible non-cooperator, my otherworldly visitor, my spiritual portal, and my baby. I loved you so much”.
The couple had been partners since the spring of 2016, following from Gilbert leaving her husband.
The women had been best friends for over a decade, but it was Rayya’s diagnosis of pancreatic cancer that made the author realise that she was romantically attracted to her friend in the spring of 2016.
Rayya Elias born in Aleppo, Syria was also an author. She wrote, Harley Loco: A Memoir of Hard Living, Hair and Post-Punk from the Middle East to the Lower East Side.

What does Agender mean?
Agender refers to someone who does identify themselves as have a particular gender – such as man or woman. Not be confused with biological sex.
Often gender is considered a societal construct – with many expectations attached to and what it means to be a woman or a man.
People who identify as agender may wish to use the pronouns they, them or their. If in doubt you can always ask what their preference is.
Agender people should not be confused with asexuality.

BIG GAY GLOSSARY | Anal
What does Anal mean?
Anal sex is where two people engage in penetrative sex where a penis, dildo or vibrate enters the anus. Usually, anal sex might refer to the sex that gay or bisexual men might have with each other, but it is also prevalent in the heterosexual community.
In gay sex, the receptive partner is often called the “bottom” whilst the giver is often referred to as the “top”.
Anal sex can come with some health risks. There is an increased chance of being infected with HIV if condoms aren’t used or either partner (top or bottom) aren’t on anti-HIV drugs, also known as PrEP. There is also a chance of being infected with other sexually transmitted diseases if a condom isn’t used.
There are also issues surrounding anal fissures and tears which can cause great discomfort and can cause bleeding after sex.
However, anal sex is perfectly safe and enjoyed by millions of people around the globe, as long the receptive partner relaxes, uses lots of lube and takes the time needed.

People are getting their penises whitened
A hospital in Thailand is offering a penis whitening service.
You can get your penis whitened for around £480 for 5 sessions, which will apparently, using lasers lighten the skin around your groin area – for reasons that, let’s be frank are a complete mystery.
Now men who are afraid that their penises seem a little too dark can now get it lightened after the clinic in Thailand started offering the service.
According to the Evening Standard, around 100 men have already sought out the help of the professionals.
The Lelux Hospital started offering the treatment following requests from would-be patients who found out that the same clinic was offering vagina whitening. Speaking to the BBC, spokesperson Popol Tansakul said, “Patients started to ask about penis whitening, and so we started the treatment a month later
“They are popular among gay men and transvestites who take good care of their private parts. They want to look good in all areas,” he added.
The cost of the laser procedure is $650 (£480) for five sessions
Of course, the treatment does come with a warning – that some may be left unable to have sex or father children after the procedure.
Again… why?

Guards Ignored Threats Against Gay Inmate Who Was Beaten, Raped, Lawsuit Says
An gay inmate in Colorado has filed a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Prisons, alleging that he was beaten and repeatedly raped by another inmate who had openly threatened him.
