  • Milo reckons he has $12 million investment for new media venture

Milo Yiannopoulos has revealed that he raised $12 million (£9.2 million) in investment for a new media business.

The outspoken commentator Milo Yiannopoulos has revealed that he’s managed to secure over £9 million in investment for a new media venture, which will include books, tours and TV shows.

In a statement released on Instagram, the former Breitbart writer said that he had formed a new media company, called MILO inc, and said that the venture had attracted $12 million in investment. The funding has come from undisclosed investors.

The new company will employ 30 people including a “seasoned media exec” who will lead the company from its Miami base.

Speaking about the venture, Milo said,

“This isn’t some vanity nameplate on a personal blog. This is a fully tooled-up talent factory and management company dedicated to the destruction of political correctness and the progressive left.

“I will spend every waking moment of the rest of my life making the lives of journalists, professors, politicians, feminists, Black Lives Matter activists and other professional victims a living hell.

“Free speech is back — and it is fabulous.”

Earlier in the year, Milo was at the centre of a controversy when a video emerged of him allegedly talking about men having sex with underage boys. The following fallout saw the writer resigning from Breitbart and his book deal with Simon Schuster fell through.

Speaking at the time he said,

“I do not advocate for illegal behavior. I explicitly say on the tapes that I think the current age of consent is ‘about right’.”

“I do not believe sex with 13-year-olds is okay. When I mentioned the number 13, I was talking about the age I lost my own virginity.

“I shouldn’t have used the word “boy” — which gay men often do to describe young men of consenting age — instead of “young man.” That was an error.”

A short while he stated that he thought, after a few months that the controversy would be a “distant memory”.

Another publisher is reportedly ready to publish his book, Dangerous.

MP Andrew Turner who has represented the Isle of Wight for 16 years has resigned after reports emerged that he said he thought it was “wrong” to be gay, and that he thought that it was “dangerous for society”. He allegedly made the comments to sixth form students at the Christ The King College in Newport.

The outburst happened after Mr Turner was asked if he’d be involved with the annual Isle of Wight pride festival. Turner allegedly revealed that he had been invited but would not attend.

A student at the Sixth Form, Esther Poucher wrote on on Facebook,

“He told us that he’d been invited, but wasn’t intending to go. This is because (and this is a direct quote) he thinks that homosexuality is ‘wrong’ and ‘dangerous to society.

“It’s terrifying that in this age and point in our development as a society, there are still people that can’t care enough about a person’s wellbeing to just accept who they are.

“And the most terrifying thing is that we as an island consistently vote him in to represent us. Well f*ck that. HE DOES NOT REPRESENT ME.”

    She added,

“If there is anything I can give to you from this, it is that we need change.

“We can’t wait, and we can’t just nod politely and respect and opinion like that.

“Yes, we all believe different things, and that’s wonderful. But when that belief treats a group as sub-human, and attempts to take away their fundamental rights, we can’t respect it.”

The candidate was due to attend a meeting on Friday morning to re-select him to stand as the Tory candidate in the forthcoming election. The meeting was postponed. Shortly after it was announced that he was stepping down and his decision to do so had nothing to do with the allegations.

The MP, according to TheyWorkForYou.com has almost consistently voted against gay and LGBT+ rights. In 2003 he voted to keep Section 28, in 2004 he voted no on Civil Partnerships and voted against same-sex marriage in 2013.

The MP said it had been his “privilege to serve the people of the Isle of Wight” but said that it was time for a “new generation” to take the mantle and represent the constituents of the Isle Of Wight.

  • Greens set to launch their gay rights manifesto in a CHURCH

In what’s being described as setting a “clear distance” between itself and the Liberal Democrats, the Green Party is launching its LGBT+ manifesto in a church.

    • The Green party has said it will commit to supporting LGBT+ asylum seekers.

    • Co-leader of the Greens Jonathan Bartley, said they were the party to ‘always stand up for LGBTIQA+ people’

    • The party has the only openly trans spokesperson in UK politics.

    GPLGBTIQA+GroupShot2
The Green party is vying for LGBT+ support today after it revealed that it would set out its LGBT+ manifesto in a London Church, a move it says which separates it from the Liberal Democrats. The launch is to take place at The Trinity United Reform Church in Camden, well-known for its progressive views and inclusivity.

Jonathan Bartley, co-leader of the Green Party, said,

“The Green Party has a proud history of leading the way when it comes to LGBTIQA+ rights. While other political parties struggle to say what they believe, Greens are clear – we will always stand up for LGBTIQA+ people.

“We believe in a fairer world, a more equal economy, human rights protected by law, recognition and representation for all gender identities and education and health services which care for and include everyone.”

Last week, the Liberal Democrat leader, Tim Farron was criticised after initially failing to answer questions on whether he thought, as a committed Christian, if “gay sex” was a sin. He was asked numerous times by Channel 4’s Cathy Newman, 11 times by an LBC reporter and once in the House of Commons. He finally revealed that he didn’t think it was a sin by saying in a BBC interview,

“I don’t believe that gay sex is a sin.

“I take the view though, that as a political leader, my job is not to pontificate on theological matters.

Aimee Challenor, Green Party LGBTIQA+ spokesperson, who is the only openly trans spokesperson of a UK Political Party, said,

“Let’s be clear, LGBTIQA+ rights are under threat. From Gay and Bi men being tortured and killed in Chechnya, to Donald Trump weakening protections in the US and the UK’s threat to repeal the Human Rights Act, 2017 has already been a concerning year for everyone who cares about LGBTIQA+ people.

“The Green Party is proud to stand against the erosion of LGBITQA+ rights and launch a manifesto which proudly fights for bodily autonomy for intersex people, legal recognition for trans and non-binary people, for PrEP for all that need it, and for greater protection for LGBTIQA+ asylum seekers – and more.”

She’s not subtle and knows how to plug her products. We’ll give her that.

Caitlyn Jenner stood outside the White House to demand that Donald Trump read her book, suggesting that he might learn something.

Holding up a copy of her new book, in front of the White House, the Olympic turned reality TV star hinted that Donald would learn something if he read a copy.

It’s not known if Caitlyn dropped off a copy, but she did say that once he was done with it, Donald should give it to Jeff Sessions, the 84th Attorney General of the USA.

Jeff Sessions is considered to be one of the most conservative members of the US senate who has achieved a ZERO rating by the Human Rights Campaign.

Caitlyn’s book Secrets Of My Life has just been published. Speaking about the books she said, “Living authentically really is a wonderful thing”.

  • Man sentenced for transphobic hate crime

A man in his 30s has been sentenced to 2 months for a transphobic hate crime in Surrey, UK.

38-year-old Darren McClean pleaded guilty to abusive behaviour towards a trans woman in Surrey. He was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court. He was handed a 2-month sentence behind bars on the 21st April.

On the 15th March McClean (Pictured) verbally abused Ms Philppa Baker, whilst she was shopping at a local supermarket in Caterham.

Ms Baker was buying groceries at the self-serve checkout when McClean started shouting offensive and transphobic comments at her. She approached McClean and asked him to stop however he continued and began taking pictures of her on his mobile phone.

McClean was eventually removed from the supermarket by security staff leaving Ms Baker shaken by the attack.

Following the incident, McClean posted images taken on his mobile phone onto Facebook where he continued to make transphobic and hateful comments.

    Ms Baker said,

“The comments that were made to me were completely vile. He spoke with such hatred which I have not been subjected to previously. I was just minding my own business paying for my items when I was caught off guard by the abuse I received. I would like to thank PC Kara Lyford and Surrey Police for their support and reassurance throughout the case. ”

    PC Kara Lyford said,

“Philippa was subjected to an awful ordeal whilst simply going about her day to day life. McLean not only verbally abused her but then proceeded to threaten her and take pictures of her without her consent. When she asked him to stop, he refused and continued to hurl abuse and made extremely offensive and unacceptable comments.”

“As a result Philippa has suffered a great deal and has feared for her personal safety. I would like to reassure the residents of Caterham and particularly our LGBT+ communities that we do not tolerate hate crime in any way. We take all reports of hate seriously and will take action. This sentencing result will hopefully give Philippa a sense of justice that she deserves.”

If you have been a victim of hate crime, please contact Surrey Police on 101 or use the online reporting system https://report.police.uk/

  • A Day Spent At The Golf Club

A Day Spent At The Golf Club

TheGayUK were fortunate enough to have been invited to the launch of the Mk7 Golf. It wasn’t exactly a new launch but more an update of an existing model. Ever since the Beetle, VW have had a tendency to bring in updates as and when to make a product better. Let’s put it this way, there were more than enough updates to cause a relaunch.

    © Stuart M Bird

Changes visually were down to lights and bumpers. It’s the technology that lives under the skin that was the main focus. Good news for the Golf driver was prices were down around £650 on average per car.

We met with Mike Orford, VW’s head of press and public relations. He gave us an over view of what Volkswagen were doing at the time. VW are going full steam to gain buyer confidence in the face of Dieselgate. So far 560,000 cars have gone through the recall, that’s just about 50%. To be honest, with the continuing sales of VW products, you would think Dieselgate was accent history. The reason being for continued European sales is that Volkswagen do make a good product.

    © Stuart M Bird

Mike talked about new cars coming our way. Some made specifically for overseas markets. A shame really because a couple looked fine and dandy. What l did find puzzling was Volkswagens focus on being less German. If l got that right then l am perplexed. I own 2 Volkswagens myself because of the Germanic quality. This also runs true for Audi.

Being the biggest car company in the world you can guess one thing. The Golf is the biggest seller. It’s the car every manufacture has tried to emulate. Some have bettered it in places but none have ever made a car as good overall. One of the key facts is its build quality and longevity. This was born true with my old Mk2 still in its prime parked in and amongst the shiny new examples.

Did you know that there are now 113 different variants of Golf to be had? Basically that means there is now a Golf to suit everybody with prices starting from £17,625 for the 3 door 1 litre TSI to £33,935 for the 5 door, 7 speed R. These are prices without extras. It’s the extras that soon add up as the following reviews to be posted will show. For example the R model l tested was £455 cheaper than the GTE hybrid at £38,175. That GTE really is a car. I was more excited about that one than any other on the day.

    © Stuart M Bird

In total l managed to test 4 models. The 2 already mentioned plus the Alltrack estate and a 1 litre SE Nav. It gave me a good example of what Golf now offered. Put it this way, when my Golf was new there were about 12 models available. The market has changed.

So while l take it all in, try and put it into words, here are some pictures of the event with reviews to follow…

  • Review – The Fate Of The Furious (FF8)

Review – The Fate Of The Furious (FF8)

FAST AND FURIOUS 8 – This record breaking, epic edition to the turbo boosted car based action franchise is the most entertaining movie of the last twelve months by a speeding mile.

    © Universal

Nutshell – Dom (Vin Diesel) goes rogue, for unknown reasons, forcing the rest of our favourite car wrecking posse to chase across the world from Cuba to Iceland via Germany and New York to find out why he has dissed his extended ‘family’, save the world and defeat tech badass Charlize Theron. Jason Statham is now a good guy and there are two megastar surprise appearances that push this over the top to be one of the greatest popcorn movies of all time.

Running Time – 136 minutes; Certificate – 12A; The ultimate guys movie but with something for everyone really.

Tagline – ‘Family No More: The Ride Isn’t Over’ – It should be, ‘The best fun you can have with your clothes on’.

TheGayUK Factor – So, so many hunks, bulging shirts and even bigger trouser bulges. Vin Diesel, The Rock and Jason Statham are three huge gay icons but you get so many other big studs including the hottest piece of new man flesh Scott Eastwood (Clint’s son) who is a pure 11 out of 10 in anyones book. So much testosterone and you just know that there is some ass action between all the motorised mayhem.

Cast – Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood, Michelle Rodriguez, Kurt Russell and loads more big names plus those two great megastar cameos in the third act that will make your chin drop to the floor and get you whooping with delight.

Key Player – Vin Diesel took over this dying franchise after the appalling number 3 and turned it into a James Bond crossed Heist huge star juggernaut which is starting to look like the most successful franchise of all time. With two more already in the works it should now surpass Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings in the all time earning stakes – taking it third behind Bond and Star Wars in a fraction of the time and without having to change its stars, style and look along the way.

Budget – $250 Million. One of the biggest budgets in movie history and it went into profit in just 4 days flat – not so much a gamble as the surest bet for your cash the world has ever seen. Yes, it beat Titanic, Avatar, Jurassic World & every Star Wars in its opening week and we expect it will run and run for months.

Best Bit – 1.02 mins. So many to choose from but one never before seen set of car stunts invoked by Theron’s bad girl Cypher who remotely takes control of hundreds of cars and makes them speed around corners in unison and then causes it to start raining automobiles from above – sensational stuff.

Worst Bit – 0.00 mins. For the first time in TheGayUK annals we have great pleasure in saying their truly isn’t a bad bit here.

Little Secret – Star & Exec Producer Vin Diesel had a massive bust up on set with Dwayne Johnson which resulted in an extremely pointed public tweet where Johnson said he was finished with the series for good. He called Diesel out for being a chicken shit, unprofessional and a candy ass – an urgent 6 hour meeting was called to patch things up… for now.

Further ViewingFast 1’s through 7, all the Bournes, all the Bonds, Ocean’s 11 through 13, Cannonball Run, Monte Carlo Or Bust, Ronin and 25 series of Top Gear plus Clarkson’s new The Grand Tour.

Any Good – This is a magnificently fun film. When you look up Friday night popcorn entertainment in the dictionary from now on you will see 4 words, Fast & Furious 8. Five was incredible, Seven was off the hook and this is way better, funny, exciting, jaw dropping and so much more. Yes, we are going over the top, but we cannot remember the last time we threw our hands up in the air in the movie theatre and here we did twice, there was even a round of applause at the end. This is the movie of the year period and it’s only April yet.

    Rating – 100 out of 100.

  • Does your manhood get smaller as we get older?

An article by Doctor Phil Hammond has suggested that perhaps our manhoods are getting smaller… He explains…

    CREDIT: © stnazkul Depositphotos

We have a lot of data about the size of men’s penises, thanks mainly to Grindr (that is research isn’t it?) however penis size from 60 years ago is near impossible to obtain, so finding out whether our penises are getting smaller as we age, is difficult to compare to previous generations of men.

However, it is suggested that perhaps because we are living longer up to 30 years longer, (one in three of us now lives past the age of 100), and are weighing a lot more than we used to, so we are carrying around the excesses of our lives for 30 years more. Meaning that as we get older, unless we retain good health and a flat tummy, our dicks could be shrouded in fat…

Doctor Phil Hammond wrote in The Telegraph,

“A big belly makes your penis look smaller, and if you can’t see it at all when you look down you need to get a grip quickly. You’re at high risk of type two diabetes and arterial disease, which can also affect the frequency and firmness of your erections.

“The bottom line is that a good erection is a sign of good physical and mental health, but for most women, your smile and smell are far more important than actual size.”

    So what do you think?

  • Politicians’ views on homosexuality aren’t necessarily a barrier for the LGBT community

Politicians’ views on homosexuality aren’t necessarily a barrier for the LGBT community

In a flash poll taken by THEGAYUK, readers were split on whether a politician’s views on gay sex were an important consideration to them.

    CREDIT: Ocus-Focus-bigstock

When asked if a politician’s views of what LGBT people do or don’t do in bed was a sin, an equal number of those surveyed answered yes and no. A flash poll undertaken by THEGAYUK showed that 47 percent of people thought that a politician’s views on the subject was an important factor to consider, whilst 47 percent did not. Six percent were unsure.

The poll comes after the leader of Liberal Democrats, Tim Farron was asked about his views on homosexuality. The committed Christian has been asked over and over on whether he considers homosexuality sinful.

Channel 4 News’ Cathy Newman asked him four times on the subject during two separate interviews. It was only during a parliamentary debate in the House of Commons, where he was asked by Tory backbencher Nigel Evans on whether he thought being gay was a sin, the Westmorland and Lonsdale MP answered,

    “I do not.

“I tell you what, I am very proud to have gone through that lobby behind him there in the Coalition Government where the Liberal Democrats introduced gay marriage, equal marriage and, indeed, did not go as far as it should have done in terms of recognising transgender rights.

Replying to our poll, would be members of the electorate were keen to point out that “straight answers” to a simple question would be “refreshing” and that religious views would only be a problem if politicians wanted to “enforce that belief through politics”.

Guardian writer, Owen Jones however Tweeted,

“Tim Farron refusing to say whether gay sex is a sin is horribly damaging to young LGBT people struggling with their sexuality.

“So many LGBT people fear rejection by society. Hearing a national politician refuse to say whether gay sex is sinful causes hurt.”

  • Jeremy Joseph is going for a world record at the London Marathon

Jeremy Joseph is going for a world record at the London Marathon

But it’s probably not what you think…

G-A-Y owner Jeremy Joseph wants to set a new world record. He wants to set a new record for the number of comments on a Facebook post. He’s urging people not to share, not to like, but comment to support equality everywhere.

The club owner is famous for his marathon running and has raised over £400,000 for his chosen charity, Elton John AIDS Foundation.

In his campaign, Jeremy outlined the many inequalities levelled at the LGBT community, including the number of countries in which it is illegal to be gay, the countries in which being gay attracts the death penalty. He also outlines the access to HIV testing available to the LGBT community in the UK.

Globally 9 out of 10 gay and bisexual men do not have access to comprehensive and stigma-free HIV and STI prevention services.

Speaking about why he chose EJAF he told THEGAYUK,

“The reason why the Elton John AIDS Foundation is important, is because I decided several years ago that I wanted G-A-Y to focus on one charity.

“I chose the Elton John AIDS Foundation because they distribute money, rather than finance one thing.

“It means by raising money through Elton John Aids Foundation, you’re raising money for lots and lots of charities.

  • UKIP candidate: “I don’t want any LGBT community”

Ever heard of Gisela Allen? Probably not. This morning, however, she became a viral internet sensation after a weird diatribe of what she wants and doesn’t want for her country, appeared in her local paper.

    clydebank-post-ukip-1492857413

Gisela Allen is a UKIP candidate for a council seat in Garscadden/Scotstounhill, Scotland. After being asked by a reporter, “Why do you want to be a councillor?” for the Clydebank Post  Allen laid out her wishes.

So what’s the take out from her wish list? She wants:

The death penalty, specifically the guillotine, (not hanging),

Mums to stay at home to look after their children,

    The reopening of public toilets,

To close golf courses (they’re an environmental threat),

    Children on horses,

No plastic bags, they’re threats to dolphins and animals…

    Classrooms for classes,

    No sex ed,

People to work until they’re 70,

No buses passes for older people,

Oh, and “I do not want any LGBT community”.

    Yep.
