    People actually think that being gay or bisexual is “trendy”

    So the Office for National Statistic released some interesting stats today about the number of young people who identify as Bisexual.

    The ONS released statistic today that show that the number of young people who identify as bisexual has increased by 45 percent in just three years.

    This is the first time that more young people have described themselves as bisexual rather than gay or lesbian. A survey by YouGov last year revealed that 50 per cent of people aged 18-24 defined themselves something other than purely heterosexual. Overall a quarter of the entire population revealed that they felt this way.

    In the most recent statistic released by the ONS 1.8 per cent identified themselves as bi, while 1.5 per cent said they were gay or lesbian.

    However, it hasn’t stopped some social media users commenting that people are referring to themselves as LGBT+ because it’s “trendy” or  fashionable rather than you know, the truth.

    The Aussie pop princess and her boyfriend, Joshua, have just done something that will totally and forever endear them to us…

    They’re not going to tie the knot  until same-sex couples get to say “I Do” down under.

    Surprisingly same-sex marriage is not yet permitted in Austrailia and they’re not happy about it.

    Kylie’s husband-to-be, Joshua Sasses, 28 helped launch the equality campaign, “Yes” and the “Say I Do Down Under” and said even though the pair would like to get married in Melbourne they won’t until the laws change to allow gay couples to get civilly partnered.

    Speaking to Australia’s Seven Network Joshua said,

    “When I found out that gay marriage was illegal in Australia, I was astounded,”

    “..we will not get married until this law has passed in Australia”.

    The Australian government has proposed a public referendum on the issue in February 2017.

    Joshua continued,

    “I simply can’t fathom on any level, whether it’s moral or religious or anything, that I have the right to get married and to marry the person that I love and that somebody else doesn’t because of their sexual orientation.”

    Despite being seen as progressive Austrailia’s laws affecting LGBTs are quite regressive. There’s no same-sex marriage and there are no adoption rights in some territories. The age of consent was only recently equalised in Queensland.

    Fans rejoiced at the rather dishy 25-year-old Andrew as he was made Star Baker in last night’s episode of Bake Off with his showstopping 24 mini mousse cakes.

    In fact, it sent thousands of people to THEGAYUK to find out a little bit more about the aerospace engineer.

    Yes, it’s true we do have a bit of a candy crush on Andrew and it turns out he’s now favourite to win the series.

    To celebrate his win, Andrew celebrated with a mini bottle of prosecco and commiserated with Tom Gilliford who was eliminated from the competition.

    Two university students have said they were left fearing for their lives after being threatened with a gun and verbally attacked.

    A gay teenager and his partner in Poole has spoken about how they were verbally abused and had what looked like a gun pointed at them. According to the students, a driver and passenger in a silver Peugeot stopped to abuse them in the early morning of 26th September.

    Speaking to the Bournemouth Echo, 18-year-old Darren Mcswiggan said that a car sped up to him and his boyfriend, who were walking towards Poole Quay. Mr Mcswiggan then said that he and his boyfriend Michael King were subjected to a homophobic verbal assault.

    During the verbal abuse. Mr Mcswiggan said that what looked like a gun was waved at them. He told the newspaper that he thought that he and his boyfriend were going to be killed.

    The driver is described as: in his 20s white and messy dark hair. He spoke with a Polish accent. The passenger is described as: in his 20s, slim and long messy hair.

    Dorset Police said that they are investigating the incident.

    A spokesperson said,

    “It was reported two 18-year-old men were walking along the pavement when a car drove up to them. The driver shouted homophobic abuse toward the pair and then threatened them with what was believed to be a pistol.

    “The victims were not physically injured in the incident.

    “The vehicle – described as a silver Peugeot 106 or similar – drove off at speed.

    “A search of the area was carried out, however the offenders were not identified.”

    Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101.

    The band, formerly known as Bradley and Ottavio, now Bratavio, have hit back at Danny GoGo after fans accused the duo of copying Danny’s style.

    Danny GoGo took to twitter to slam the flamboyant pair suggesting that they got their costume inspiration from an outfit he wore.

    Many of Danny’s 78,000 twitter fans were quick to agree, saying that Danny’s look was “better” and calling the singer a “trend starter”.

    Some of his fans even went as far as to say that Bradley and Ottavio had “ripped off” an original look of Danny’s and that they were nothing more than “copycats”.

    However, Bradley and Bratavio were quick to answer the accusation saying that the look was first conceived in 2012.

    So Bratavio, formerly Bradley and Ottavio, have been accused of copying singer and trend setting Danny GoGo’s style and his fans are not happy about it.

    All was well until Bratavio were spotted wearing their now famous multicoloured candy looking costume for this weekend’s “Judges Houses” – where they successfully made it through to the live shows. They sang XTina’s “Candy Man” to impress Louis Walsh.

    So far so good right? Except the 23-year-old Danny GoGo took to twitter to slam the flamboyant pair by saying:

    Danny GoGo then another took a swipe at the X FACTOR pair, by suggesting that the casting of Honey G and Bratavio was a “laughing stock” and that they’d never get signed to a recording deal.

    The decision to put Bratavio into the live shows proved to be highly controversial. Trolls on social media were quick to condemn Louis Walsh and bombarded him with homophobic slurs.

    So some people thought they caught a glimpse of a Cowell cock during this weekend’s “Judge’s Houses” episode of X FACTOR. Did they?

    Simon Cowell was joined by two Spice Girls, Mel B and Emma Bunton to select three hopefuls for the forthcoming marathon of live shows to be become Britain’s Next Top Ignored Popstar.

    During the selection process, as Cowell had his legs crossed, people started to question what exactly was going on between his legs.

    So obviously we did a little bit of investigation into what has now been dubbed as “toegate”.

    Basically, we looked a little harder at the evidence and it turns out that it’s just Cowell’s toe and the music mogul himself reckons it a large toe at that.

    Simon was forced to admit that the toe’s placement was indeed an embarrassment for him. He told Rylan Clark and Matt Edmonson on the Xtra Factor,

    “It was just my toe. It was quite embarrassing when I saw it online but it was just my toe.

    “I have a very large toe.”

    Thank goodness.

    A man in China managed to get this penis stuck in a wedding ring for 48 hours and had to call the emergency services to get the metal band off.

    He apparently stuck his Johnson into the ring and then panicked after he couldn’t get it out – after TWO days. The pain became so unbearable he was forced to call for medical help.

    After calling for help it was the FIREFIGHTERS who turned up first. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to remove the ring. It wasn’t until was shifted to a hospital where the professionals were finally able to snap the ring off, over an hour later.

    Two of Louis Walsh’s boys, Bradley and Ottavio have rebranded their band name.

    The XFACTOR band formed of Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro have rebranded ahead of the live shows next week. The flamboyant pair decided that “Bradley and Ottavio” was just too much of a mouthful so they ditched the brand altogether. Instead, they’ll be known as Bratavio

    The dynamic duo has caused a stir on Twitter with fans of the show hurling abuse at Louis Walsh for taking them through to the live shows. A number of angry viewers took to calling Louis and Bratavio homophobic slurs after Louis chose the boys over four other acts including boy band favourites Yes Lad.

    Louis Walsh was aided by last year’s runner-up Fleur East and Pride in London’s headliner Alesha Dixon who jointly decided to put in the controversial novelty act.
