    Of all his TV moments, this is the one Austin Armacost is proudest of

    It’s been a little while since the hunky Celebrity Big Brother star Austin Armacost has been on our screens, but today he shared the moment he’s proudest of.

    Back in 2015, during the star’s first stint on CBB, Austin was overwhelmed by fellow contestant, Gail Porter’s story about her hair loss.

    So moved, he actually shaved his hair off in an act of solidarity.

    At the time Gail asked, if anyone would shave their hair off. Austin told her, “Gail, I would be honoured for you to shave my head. You are the most amazing person with or without hair.”

    In a Twitter post, Austin said of all of his appearances this was his favourite, saying “5 years ago today… I’ve done a lot of things on TV: funny, dramatic, intense, argumentative… but this moment of compassion is one I’m most proud of!”

    Blu Hydrangea shared the sweetest snap of herself and her boyfriend and told fans that they were celebrating six years together.

    The 24-year-old drag queen, who starred in the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, and became known for her shady comebacks and snarky observations, told fans, “6 years ago, this guy took me by the hand and brought me on this incredible adventure!”

    The post quickly racked up thousands of likes and numerous RTs.

    Her fellow RPDR UK stars were quick to congratulate the pair with Davida De Campo writing “OMG, you babies”

    While Cheryl Hole wrote, “My babies”

    Six years ago Blu would have been 18, but that didn’t stop fans wondering whether the pair were actually in high school when they met!

    Fans couldn’t get over how young Blu looked in the 2014 picture, with one saying, “Jesus you two look you’d barely started high school! Great skin obvs helps! Happy anniversary”

    And another added, “literally floored by how tiny u r in the first pic. y’all r so cute”

    Over a month on and RuPaul’s social media channels are still empty.

    Back in July, RuPaul shocked fans when he deleted every post on his Instagram account and seemingly shut down his Twitter account. The only social platform that is still live is his Facebook page, which hasn’t been updated since 2019.

    Even his official website hasn’t been uploaded in quite a while.

    Despite the lack of content, Ru’s channels are still highly subscribed, with over 4.1 million followers on Instagram and 1.3 million followers on Facebook.

    Done with the negativity

    Gossip site, PageSix have reported that the star had “had it with being scrutinized on social media”

    A “source” told the site, ““The truth is things like Black Lives Matter is overwhelming for someone like Ru. He gets backlash for appearing to not … support the community and [he receives] a lot of negativity, so he disengages,”

    THEGAYUK did reach out to RuPaul for comment, but never heard back.

    The Celebrity Masterchef winner, Riyadh Khalaf, has posed for a series of topless pictures, which have melted the hearts of his fans.

    Although a few of his followers made comments about the star’s previous more racy speedo picture going missing from the platform. One commented, “The ridiculous state of Insta when you can’t post a selfie in Speedos”, to which Riyadh replied, “Thank you”.

    Another asked, “Anyone has the previous post screenshot? ??”

    And another added, “Now I’m curious what I’m missing out on from the first post…”

    Instagram censorship

    Instagram has a history of censoring gay and male bodies. Previously we have reported that numerous celebrities and campaigns have been removed or banned outright by the Facebook-owned picture platform. It still, however, permits some women, most notably Kim Kardashian and Lizzo to publish nude pictures.

    Posting to his 97,900 fans on Instagram the best selling author and podcast presenter, posed for a series of photos, while on holiday on the Greek island of Santorini.

    Among the admirers of Riyadh’s photos was Doctor Ranj, who gave the star fire emojis and called the pictures “Filth”.

    The star wrote, “Needed this. Being still, mindful and letting the ‘noise’ die down.

    “This island is nothing short of spectacular! Would recommend if you’re looking for a chilled getaway with amazing food and clear blue waters. Not to mention the view from the highest point on the island from our villa @santoriniskygreece

    Bobby Norris has revealed a shocking body transformation, which he called a “big reveal”.

    Taking to Instagram, the star told his 810,000 followers, “Recently I have been working on something very special and today I am extremely excited to showcase the big ‘reveal’. I honestly can’t believe how different I look! But it’s about so much more than that”.

    Bobby, who has recently campaigned on making homophobic online trolling illegal, admitted to his followers that he never had a good relationship with his body.

    He continued, “I honestly can’t believe how different I look! But it’s about so much more than that. I’ve never had a great relationship with body image, sports & fitness. It’s been a part of my life where I lacked lots of confidence”.

    “My mental health has never been better”

    He added, “Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t just about the way you look, it’s about being the best version of you and having respect for yourself and your body. My mental health has never been better and I would like to thank you for all the support Scotty, I feel you have made me into the man I always new I could be!”

    In the post he thanks Scott Harrison and his programme The Six Pack Revolution.

    Fans and celebs alike congratulated the star on his new look. Big Brother stars, Hughie Maughan wrote, “Omg wow ????” and his partner, Ryan Ruckledge said, “That’s amazing really well done ? “

    Charlie Condou simply wrote, “Bloody hell ?”

    He even got the thumbs up from Michelle Visage, who said, “GO BOBBY GO!!!!”

    In the candid picture posted to his millions of followers’ delight, the 31-year-old admitted that he was getting into “jump-roping” while listening to Lady Gaga’s Chromatica… while stoned.

    He wrote, “I’m getting very into jump-roping to chromatica megamixes while stoned… what are y’all up to?”

    While some were completely taken by the star’s incredible workout bod, one remarking that Tyler’s body was “astronomical”, others marvelled in the star’s rather chic surroundings, with one asking if the star was a “secret king”.

    Honestly, we couldn’t think of a better way to spend Sunday morning… oh well apart from in bed, with the covers pulled up high – with maybe a little bit of Gaga playing in the background (lightly).

    Big Brother‘s Aaron Frew has unveiled quite a shocking new hair colour.

    Normally when celebs reveal a new, daring hair colour it might be a silver or a true platinum blonde (ala Adam Lambert), but Big Brother star Aaron has gone for a Bart Simpson YELLOW – and we’re actually really kinda digging it.

    The star uploaded a picture of his new look to his Instagram profile, saying, “it’s yellow season bitches”.

    Celebrity hairstylist Carl Bembridge remarked that the shocking colour was definitely a winner for the model saying, “This looks sick”.

    The look certainly has gone down well with the reality star, turned model’s fan base as it amassed over 2000 likes.

    The Great British Sewing Bee presenter Joe Lycett has taken to social media to shine a spotlight on some of his favourite eateries, in an effort to get Britain eating out again.

    Of course, you may have heard of the Government’s scheme to help the ailing hospitality industry called, Eat Out To Help Out which encourages the UK’s citizens to don its collective mask and go and eat out, (but stay home unless absolutely necessary) at restaurants, pub and cafes around the UK, which have signed up to its Eat Out scheme. The scheme offers would-be punters a whopping 50 per cent off their food bills (maximum £10 per person).

    Doing his part, Joe has highlighted some of his favourite eateries around the Birmingham area saying that Nandos “don’t need you right now”.

    However, it seems he has an issue with the campaign’s primary hashtag which is #EatOutToHelpOut calling it “discriminatory”. Instead, the comedian offered a number of other campaign slogans which may or may not whet your appetite, including

    Eat Out Or Wank Off A Lad For Dinner, or Handjob And A Curry and our personal favourite Spaff And A Snack.

    We’re not entirely sure restaurateurs are going to be 100 on board with this… but you never know.

    Keegan Hirst has written about what it’s like to get, have and maintain abs and it sounds freaking exhausting.

    In a lengthy Instagram post, Keegan Hirst, who now runs his own online coaching website has laid bare that having and getting abs is a difficult task and opened up the conversation about why and if they are actually important to have.

    In the post, Keegan wrote that people have put “abs on a pedestal” and that abs equal status, “especially if you’re gay” he added that they are seen as “attractive, desirable and sexy”, but he warns, “what people don’t tell you about is how hungry they feel trying to get ‘beach ready’.”

    Anxiety surround abs

    He also revealed that there was anxiety in keeping hold of the abs and how toxic they can become to your mental health, especially if someone has “attached their self worth to their image”.

    He then explained that keeping in shape came with “trade-offs” and that it was up to you on what you were willing to compromise on in order to real the goal of visible abs.

    He then laid out 3 steps on how to get a set of abs, including the tip that no amount of sit-ups or crunches would get you abs.

    He also explained that you just can’t cut any corners to get them. So throw away the electric ab toners and “skinny coffee”. He suggests, “You just need to be in a sustainable, calorie deficit until you get there. ⁠”

    Third, he says that keeping that all elusive 6 pack is a mindset, saying, “Abs may be made in the kitchen, but they’re maintained with your mindset.⁠”

    Most importantly, he added that we shouldn’t attach our happiness to gaining a set.

    Bobby Norris hasn’t been to the hairdressers since lockdown began and fans are going wild for his natural curl.

    The reality star, turned LGBT+ activist, Bobby Norris has revealed that he’s not been to get his haircut since lockdown began, back in late March and his locks are looking incredible, so much so, fans are begging him not to go back to his old style.

    Publishing a picture of his do, Bobby showed off a longer than usual style, complete with natural curls. He captioned the picture, “Has anyone else still not been to the hairdressers since lockdown?!” Fans, of course, went wild for the reveal.

    One eager fan wrote, “I love this look! So handsome” while another commented, “I actually think this look suits you so well”.

    One fan actually pleaded with the TV star not to cut his hair as it was “blooming gorgeous”.

    Of course, Bobby has been making headlines of late with his crusade of ridding the Internet of homophobic hate, calling upon Boris Johnson and the Tory government to make online trolling illegal in the UK.

    Last year the TOWIE star released a petition demanding that the government take action over homophobic hate crime on social media. Within a short period, over 150,000 people signed the petition, meaning that the UK government was obliged to discuss his petition to make online homophobia a specific criminal offence.

    The star often shares the horrific hate and trolling that he receives online.
