  • India Willoughby will not accept Amanda Barrie’s misgendering apology

    “Apology not accepted”

India Willoughby, 52, has taken a firm stance on misgendering while in the Celebrity Big Brother house and has refused to accept the apology of 82-year-old veteran actor Amanda Barrie.

In the lead up to India not accepting Corrie legend Amanda Barrie’s apology, Amanda misgendered India twice. India accused Amanda of misgendering her – and noted that the second time that Amanda chuckled about it afterwards.

Since being in the house, India has talked openly and frequently about her transition and being transgender. She took a swipe at those who identify as non-binary saying that she considered people who were “Bob on Monday and Barbara on Tuesday” cheapened the transgender experience.

Ann Widdecombe, Rachel Johnson and Amanda Barrie all misgendered the newscaster.

    Not accepting

Amanda later sought out India who was sitting alone in the garden. When Amanda apologised for the incident, India refused to accept the apology saying “Apology not accepted”.

Her refusal to accept and move on from Amanda’s mistake was met with anger from some viewers on Twitter, who suggested that India needed to let the issue go.

  • 8 Netflix comedies series that are totally binge worthy this January

    Need a laugh?

Let us help you pick your next comedy binge on Netflix.

    Schitt’s Creek

It’s about a rich to rags family… Businessman Johnny and Soap star Moira Rose lose their fortune, but they still have their twenty-something-year-old kids (David and Alexis) – and a town called Schitt’s Creek, which the dad once bought for a joke. Starring Catherine O’Hara (mother from Home Alone) along with Eugene Levy (Dad from American Pie) and Dan Levy (his son).

    The Good Place

New to Netflix, this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Due to an error, self-absorbed Eleanor Shellstrop arrives at the Good Place after her death. Determined to stay, she tries to become a better person. Starring Frozen’s Kristen Bell and Ted Danson. There are two series to dive straight into…

    Santa Clarita

Joel (Timothy Olyphant) and Sheila (Drew Barrymore) are husband and wife estate agents in the US leading vaguely discontented lives in the LA suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby, until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction…but in a good way.

    Big Mouth

Big Mouth is a 10-episode, half-hour edgy adult animated comedy from real-life best friends Nick Kroll (Kroll Show, The League) and Andrew Goldberg (Family Guy) about the glorious nightmare that is teenaged puberty.

    GirlBoss

Girlboss is inspired by the New York Times best-selling book #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso, founder of the fashion brand Nasty Gal. The series centres on Amoruso (Britt Robertson), who began selling vintage clothes on eBay and, by the age of 28, had built the multi-million dollar fashion empire, Nasty Gal.  Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t commissioned this for a second series, which is a shame.

    Atypical

Atypical is a coming of age story that follows Sam (played by Keir Gilchrist), an 18-year-old on the autistic spectrum as he searches for love and independence. While Sam is on his funny yet emotional journey of self-discovery, the rest of his family must grapple with change in their own lives as they all struggle with the central theme: what does it really mean to be normal?

    Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Now in its third series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has been a runaway hit for Netflix. Kimmy, who has been living in a cult for 15 years, in an underground bunker, comes to terms with life in New York.

    Frankie And Grace

In Grace and Frankie, Jane Fonda (“Grace”) and Lily Tomlin (“Frankie”) star as two women whose lives are suddenly turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other. Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, they form an unlikely bond to face an uncertain future together and discover a new definition of “family,” with laughter, tears and plenty of mood enhancers along the way

  • Housemates have misgendered India Willoughby numerous times since she went in

India Willoughby has been misgendered by numerous housemates, numerous times since entering the Big Brother house.

Do the housemates have an issue with recognising India Willoughby‘s gender? It seems so after Ann Widdecombe, Rachel Johnson and Amanda Barrie all misgendered the newscaster.

The latest incident happened when Corrie legend Amanda Barrie who herself is also part of the LGBT+ community misgendered India in a discussion in the living room. India accused Amanda of misgendering her twice – and noted that the second time actually Amanda chuckled about it afterwards.

India said that she took great offence to the misgendering. Amanda said that she apologised deeply.

India said that an apology was “not enough” and explained how upset it made her.

Last night viewers of Rylan’s Bit On The Side were shocked when footage not shown in the main programme showed Rachel Johnson also misgendering India.

Ann Widdecombe was the first celebrity to call India a “he” in a moment for which the former politician apologised for.

Ann waded into the discussion and said that if the misgendering wasn’t deliberate an apology was always enough.

Since being in the house, India has talked openly and frequently about her transition and being transgender. She took a swipe at those who identify as non-binary saying, that she considered people who were “Bob on Monday and Barbara on Tuesday” cheapened the transgender experience.

India was not impressed with Ann’s interruption and said that an apology was not enough and that being misgender was deeply offensive.

The couple had been partners since the spring of 2016, following from Gilbert leaving her husband.

  • India Willoughby: Trans can mean Bob on Monday, Barbara on Tuesday

India Willoughby’s frank and honest chat about what “transgender” means might cause offence to some in the LGBT+ community.

It didn’t take long for Celebrity Big Brother star India Willoughby to talk about what being transgender means to her. The star who became the UK’s first openly transgender newsreader was talking to Whistle-blower Maggie Oliver on why she doesn’t have many fans in the transgender community.

India and Maggie were talking, when Maggie remarked that she thought that India was brave in her transition and that she would be a great advocate for others who want to transition, but India didn’t think she was.

Speaking from her bed, India said, “A lot of transgender people don’t like me though, because of the LGBT thing and pointing out the differences… It’s because transgender now, they include drag queens. With people like me, it’s not a part-time thing and it’s not a really a choice. I hated being trans. It was horrible. For other people under than word, what is now transgender it can mean anything from RuPaul to somebody who is Bob on Monday and Barbara on Tuesday. I feel that soft of cheapens the seriousness…”.

  • These straight guys share how much it would cost them to go “gay for pay”

    “A Year’s Salary”

Some people think that you can’t be truly straight if you’re a slave to the D – whether you’re being paid or not, some believe that sex with someone from the same sex can be separated from being gay.

    What is gay for pay?

Gay for pay is where a man, who doesn’t identify as gay does sexual things to another guy for money, from kissing to anal sex. This is most prevalent in the porn industry where male stars are paid more handsomely in gay porn than their male counterparts in straight porn.

In gay for pay porn, men who ID as straight will often give and receive BJs, top and bottom and do mutual masturbation. Some performers will not give oral or take in anal – and are strict tops.

Student loans and a yacht in Monaco

These guys on Reddit gave a long hard think about how much cash it’d take them to go gay… Some of them had a lot of detail… We see you Mr Clooney lover…

Like would I blow a guy for a million dollars? I mean, I don’t see why not. A million dollars is a million dollars and I could say that I blew a guy for a million dollars when all of those relevant conversations pop up. [VIA]

I’d do almost whatever someone wanted if they’d pay off my student loans ($63K) [VIA]

Enough to get out of debt. And some controlled substances to set the tone for the ceremony wouldn’t be such a bad idea either. [VIA]

Money on the scale of years worth of salary? I’d consider it. Men don’t interest me, but I can’t imagine a few hours of that is all that scarring of an experience, and if it is, there are years on the beach to get over it. Experimentation for experimentation’s sake or a small-scale amount of money holds no interest, however. [VIA]

What does the guy on SNL say? “If you won’t blow a guy for $3000, you don’t care about your family.” [VIA]

If the money was enough to pay off all my bills and house. Buy me 2 new cars and a trip to Paris… and I was topping him with 5 condoms on. Then yes. [VIA]

Yup, if it were enough of the “pay” to make a difference in my day-to-day financials, such as paying off my student debt or getting a good nest egg started for my kids. But not with some ugly, unhygienic dude. Needs to be like a night on Clooney’s yacht in Monaco harbour. [VIA]

  • Some people just body shamed Madonna’s daughter and the internet came for them

    Let it grow…

Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes is letting her armpit hair grow and it’s divided fans of the original “Material Girl” on Instagram.

The 21-year-old model was posing in a happy photo with her legendary mother in a picture captioned, “We are Ready For You 2018!”

Mother and daughter looked very happy as they rang in the New Year, but it seems as though Lourdes’ choice to let her underarm hair grow has caused division amongst the fanbase.

One sickened user wrote, “Shave it” while another wrote, “Ummm. Why??. I’m done following Madonna.”

Another fan explained, “She’s Italian. Have any of you ever been to Europe? Stop making mean comments about her underarm hair. It’s a natural thing on Europe and all over the world. Just because you don’t like it, don’t put others down. Live and let live. She’s beautiful just the way she is”

Some users were quick to suggest that the look was “not normal” in Italy or Europe.

Another championed Loudres’ look by saying, “Who gives a f**k about underarm hair? So what? If you’re offended then go back to your own Edwardian era”

    Be happy people, be happy.

Max Emerson thinks it’s still Christmas…

Because he just gifted us an amazing sight for sore eyes. The 29-year-old left, who has over 850,000 followers, made some of his fans thirsty AF after releasing a photo on his account. He wasn’t wearing much at all (read nothing) and it gives us some rather serious butt goals.

He captioned the picture “#koalas in the mist. On to Sydney, if I ever find my pants. ? @andrescamilo___ (also #2 from yesterday was an absolute lie, but you already knew that)”

This, of course, isn’t the first time he’s shown us his best ass…ets… Earlier in the year, he gave us this rather wonderous image of him in the shower.
