  • Here’s how porn stars stay hard for so long

Here’s how porn stars stay hard for so long

Shooting a film takes a long time, there are loads of things to think about… angles, lighting, press shots, pack shots for the DVD (who still buys porn DVDs?)). The lists go on, but the performers have to stay hard – sometimes for hours on end. So how do they do it?

Firstly there are the oral meds that performers can take. Viagra for instance.

Pornstar Michael McLachlan told us, “Yes, of course, we take pills to help us get hard and stay hard during filming. Some scenes can take 3 hours some can take 5 hours. We have to do all the still images and promotional images that day also for DVD covers etc. So yeah we need something to sustain an erection while taking photos and no sexual stimulation is happening. We aren’t magicians. Though some guys can fit a lot up their ‘sleeve’”.

    Injectables

Some guys take it one step further and use injectables, directly into their penises, which can cause erections without arousal. An “anonymous” legal rep for a gay porn star told Quora users, “Liquid ED drugs are injected straight into the penis. It lasts for 6-8 hours.

    Fluffers?

Remember the term “fluffers”, well apparently studios used to hire someone specifically to get the guy ready and up before the scene’s start.

Our anon legal rep continues, “… and fluffers were used to keep male actors hard. Before you ask, a fluffer is a male or female who fellates the actor’s penis just long enough to keep it aroused. In the 70s and 80s were actually hired and regularly paid to be “at the ready”

    Pumps

Then there are the pumps. Pumps aren’t used that often because overusing them can actually be dangerous, and could lead to a burst blood vessel in the peen. Not nice.

    The edit

Then there’s always editing. You know a scene might last more than a day. The stars may actually cum quite early on in the day and then come back to it, later on, and do different angles and positions later on in the day.

Mark Myers, a sexual health expert on Quora said, “Porn stars may last longer than the average man, but a lot of what you see in porn is not “real”. For example, directors shoot multiple takes and lots of footage just to create one 20 minute scene.

“Still, it’s reasonable to assume that male porn stars train themselves to last longer by practising deep breathing, frequently changing positions (and sometimes exercising during sex), and of course, lots of practice.”

  • Brewdog released an equality beer and called it PINK IPA, it did not go down well

Gawd loves a trier, but perhaps the marketers at Brewdog should have sat a little longer around that Flipboard.

Today, Brewdog released a new beer and called it, Pink IPA. On Twitter, they wrote, “This is not “beer for girls”. This is beer for equality. Pink IPA has landed.”

Yes, this is exactly what equality needs Pink Beer. I mean look – the Pink bottle is smashing the Blue bottle in half in the promo pic… This beer means business.

Don’t worry about equal pay for equal work, equal maternity and paternity leave, ending the patriarchy, diverse hiring, equal power gap, sexual harassment, sexual assault and all that. No drink a f*cking Pink Beer that’ll make it.

Brewdog’s marketing statement read, “we have always believed that beer is for everyone, and equality is a fundamental right. So today we are launching a clarion call to end the discrimination of gender pay inequality. In the UK men earn on average 20% more than women. And that’s not ok.

“So ahead of International Women’s Day this Thursday, we are launching Pink IPA. A beer for women. A beer for equality,

“…. What’s more, people who identify as female will be able to pick up Pink IPA in any BrewDog bar for 20% less. The beer will launch in our bars this Thursday 8th March to coincide with International Women’s Day”.

Oh, btw they say that the name, Beer for Girls is satirical and their aim is to expose sexist marketing to women.

So you know, they made the label pink.

Now, wait, remember Brewdog once made a “trans” beer, which was called “No Label” and they made a “Protest Beer” against the homophobia in Russia.? Where are they now? Nowhere.

This beer will be available for 4 weeks only and 20 percent of the proceeds will be “donated to charities that fight inequality and support women”.

    The reaction

Well, by and large, people on Twitter weren’t having it. Nope, they weren’t having it AT ALL.

  • THEATRE REVIEW | Fat Friends The Musical – Milton Keynes

★★★☆☆ | Fat Friends The Musical, Milton Keynes

*Review taken from the Sheffield production*

As her wedding day approaches, Kelly buys her dream wedding dress, even though it is two sizes too small for her.

When Julia Fleshman, the head of a national slimming club chain, comes to town to judge a slimming contest live on TV, Kelly ends up going viral with her body confident comments; and seizing the opportunity for some publicity, Fleshman offers to pay for Kelly’s wedding if she can slim into the dress in time for the big day. But with the wedding only six weeks away, the pressure is on…

Fat Friends is very much a piece of crowd-pleasing theatre. Pulling together multiple stories of the good folk of Headingly, a town near Leeds, the stage is filled with likeable, if slightly caricatured, characters and is a straightforward evening of undemanding fun.

The show boasts a good cast, with Jodie Prenger taking the lead as Kelly, and doing so with a cocky northern confidence and a belting singing voice. Sam Bailey (The X-Factor) is great as Kelly’s Mum and Natasha Hamilton (from Atomic Kitten) is the scheming Julia Fleshman. Thrown into the mix is an affable turn from Kevin Kennedy (Coronation Street) and ex-cricketer Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff, who takes to the stage and fares better than expected with a slightly stilted, if not tongue in cheek, portrayal of Kevin, Kelly’s nice but dim fiancé.

The songs are amiable enough and used to move the story forward, and whilst they were perfectly pleasant to listen to and shoehorned a few laughs into the lyrics, they served their purpose well enough in terms of keeping up the show upbeat and jolly, but were ultimately fairly forgettable. The live orchestra added to the atmosphere within the theatre and the set design was a colourful cartoonish affair which was well lit and effective in its simplicity.

Written and directed by Kay Mellor, who wrote the original TV series that the show is based on; Fat Friends is a rather loud, boisterous and upbeat show, which really resonates with its target audience. It’s a rather clichéd musical by numbers, with a heavy-handed script, fairly trite lyrics and a rather unsubtle approach to its humour, but what it lacks in sophistication, it makes up for with likeable characters, a few good belly laughs and buckets-full of near the knuckle, northern charm.

Fat Friends is at the Milton Keynes Theatre, Milton Keynes until the 10th March 2018, book tickets click here

Qantas is going the way of the London Underground and is encouraging its staff to lose terms like Ladies and Gentlemen, “honey”, “guys” and “love”.

Instead of using “husband and wife” a booklet given to cabin crew and other staff at the airline have suggested that they start using words like “partner”, “spouse”.  Instead of “mum and dad”, they’ll be using a simple “parents” in a bid to use non-gendered language.

moerschy / Pixabay Staff were given a booklet outlining the change in language to help make the airline more inclusive.

People and culture group executive Lesley Grant said, “We have a long and proud history of promoting inclusion among our people, our customers and society, including support of indigenous issues, gender parity in business and marriage equality”.

The company is also warning against “manterruptions” and “mainsplaining” to stop male workers from talking over their female counterparts.

The company is drawing a line under gendered terms like “Chairman”.

The booklet explains, “Language can make groups of people invisible,”

“For example, the use of the term ‘chairman’ can reinforce the idea that leaders are always men.”

A Qantas spokeswoman told Yahoo7 News the booklet was created by the Diversity Council of Australia and was supplied to around 150 other companies.

“We want Qantas to be an inclusive workplace and we shared some factsheets created by the Diversity Council of Australia with some suggestions on more inclusive language, particularly on gender, age and LGBTI issues.”

  • Who is Seth Cumming? Ex partner of Judge Rinder

Who is Seth Cumming, the former husband of TV star, Judge Rinder.

Seth Cumming, not Seth Cummings as many of the UK papers insist on calling him, is the ex-husband of daytime TV judge, Robert Rinder. In 2018 the pair announced their split after 4 years of marriage. The duo had been an item for over a decade before deciding to tie the knot.

The couple got married in Ibiza in 2013, by a close friend, Benedict Cumberbatch, but announced their split in January 2018. No third parties are believed to be involved in the “amicable” split.

According to The Sun, a source close to the Daytime judge, “It’s very sad news but Rob is separating from his partner of 11-and-a-half-years.

“He’s very upset about the situation, but the split is amicable and no one else is involved.

Seth, like Robert, is also a barrister but also used to be an advisor to the former Conservative chancellor George Osborne.

  • Dustin Lance Black and Tom Daley have revealed the sex of their baby

New dads to be, Tom and Dustin have revealed the sex of their unborn child.

It seems the gay power couple Tom and Dustin are about to have a bouncy baby boy on their hands after they revealed that they’ve found out what the sex of their unborn child is during the ultrasound.

They revealed the news during Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast.

Dustin Lance Black told podcast listeners, “You find out at the scan. They zoom in on every little body part!”

After the ultrasound, Tom said, “I had no idea what to expect going into that scan. I remember feeling quite nervous but excited about what was going to happen. The baby was moving. Just to see your child move and know there’s going to be a screaming, crying, sleeping, pooping machine!”

    Who’s the daddy?

The duo also revealed that neither of them knows who the biological father is. Tom explained, “I know there’s been one question that lots of people have asking about, about who the biological father is,”

“That’s something we’ve been very adamant about not knowing, or not ever wanting to know because they are our children.”

Addressing some of the criticism they received about their decision not reveal who the surrogate mother was, during their initial announcement, Tom said,

“Once the child is born, it’s up to the parents how much or how little the surrogate stays involved, but for us, we love her so much that I can’t imagine not ever seeing her again because we want her to be part the journey of the kids growing up too.”

Congrats guys… When’s the baby shower?
