Katie Hopkins has poured cold water on fan’s hopes that she is to appear on Celebrity Big Brother tonight.
Katie Hopkins has joined her fellow housemate, Perez Hilton, in confirming that she’s not about to appear in tonight’s launch show of Celebrity Big Brother. Perez’s reason was money. Katie’s reason – because Donald Trump is about to “take control of the White House”.
Taking to Twitter Katie slammed the show as a “no star” event and stated,
“Go into no star CBB …when a 5 star President is about to take control of the White House? I don’t think so my little furry friends”
Katie Hopkins along with Perez, Michelle Visage and Katie Price starred in the January 2015 series of CBB which made it the most talked about series of the show on Channel 5. During the show, Katie formed a close friendship with Michelle, but the pair fell out shortly after the show, with Michelle revealing that Katie stopped returning her calls.
CBB execs apparently pleading with Perez to go back into the house, but they weren’t prepared to stump up the “double amount” fee.
With rumours that James Jordan is about to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house we thought we’d get to know him a little better.

Despite what Leslie Jordan said, there isn’t a new series of the landmark show, Will And Grace on the make. The show’s lead, Debra Messing, has taken to Twitter to dismiss the claims made by the comedian, by saying that the cast and producers are just in “talks”.
Fans across the globe rejoiced when one of the show’s cameos, Leslie Jordan, confirmed that a new season with 10 episodes was being made and due to hit our screens later this year. Earlier this year I had the pleasure of attending this year’s Hustlaball Gay Porn Awards at the Kitkat Club in Berlin. While staying in Berlin for the weekend, I had the pleasure of staying at the Art’Otel Berlin Mitte. The hotel is one of a chain of hotels around Europe that specialise in featuring a particular artist in the décor of the hotel building. The Berlin Mitte art’otel features German artist Georg Baselitz throughout and has been recently renovated giving the hotel a fresh contemporary feel.
All 109 rooms and suites, as well as the entrance, lobby and reception, have received an inspiring new look, featuring new bathrooms, modern beds and bold furnishings, with the design encompassing Georg Baselitz’s use of wood with metallic, Gold and Copper themes. In addition, the grey walls in the public areas, combined with the famous Baselitz paintings provide a striking new feature, whilst the elegant furniture, such as the comfortable armchairs, alongside the seven-metre sculptural concrete seat, gives the hotel its very own unique touch.
Since its original opening in 1997, art’otel berlin mitte has displayed a permanent exhibition with 328 works by Georg Baselitz. From large pictures to smaller charcoal drawings, each room includes a painting, an etching or a graphic of his work. Baselitz focused early on deformations, the power of the subject, and the liveliness of the colours, which has been brought to life within the hotel’s renovation.
The hotel features a number of rooms of different sizes, from the spacious twin rooms through to XL Suites which have a king size beds, a two-seater sofa that pulls out into a double bed, and a few have access to the balcony that looks out towards the Berlin Cathedral and the Museum Island.

The Upside Down Bar is so named in reference to Baselitz’s painting style which was largely upside-down images, while the menu is inspired by various Mediterranean sources. Honey G has failed to enter the top 10, 20, 30, 40 or 100… with her debut single “The Honey G Show”. The controversial contestant who was eliminated in the seventh week, in the last series of the X Factor is said to have inked a contract with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco – but apparently, it’s just limited to singles at the moment. The Radio Times reports the single reached 149 in the singles’ chart.
Speaking to Digital Spy she said,
“What I want to do is negotiate a deal,
“We want to make it happen. I don’t think there is a specific timescale – I think they are allowed to make two singles with me, and then if they make a third, they have to make an album.”
With sales figures as poor as these, it doesn’t look like Honey G’s album will be hitting the shelves anytime soon. So prepare to see her performing at Pride events across the UK this summer.
Journalists at The Sun feel that they have the right to quiz George Michael’s partner, Fadi Fawaz, with EIGHT personal questions about his relationship with the singer.
The Sun has launched an investigation into the private lives of Fadi Fawaz and George Michael, following the shocking death of the superstar on Christmas day. Fadi has self-identified as George’s boyfriend at the time of his death.
The paper has demanded that Fadi answers five (but it’s actually 8) questions including whether the photographer was in a relationship with George Michael at the time of his death.
Journalists Stephen Moyes and Nick Pisa insist in their article that they have “Five questions Fadi should answer” they include:
Did you know George was taking drugs up to his death? Who provided the drugs?
Did you really sleep in your car on the wintry night he died, and why?
Who hacked your Twitter account, and have you reported the problem?
Were you in a relationship with George when he died?
Why do friends of George accuse you of acting like a ‘leech’?
According to the article, Fadi refused to answer these questions.
The article suggests that these questions were posed by “pals of George”, but the paper doesn’t reveal the identity of these friends.
FADI FOUND GEORGE AND INCONCLUSIVE AUTOPSY
Fadi is reported to have found George on Christmas morning dead in his bed. It was reported that he was lying peacefully. A post-mortem examination on the body of George Michael was “inconclusive”. More tests will be carried out to determine the singer’s cause of death. His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
The star was found in his Oxfordshire home by his partner. He was found lying, “peacefully in bed”.
Fadi told The Daily Telegraph: “I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone. We don’t know what happened yet.”
THE SUN CRITICISED FOR ITS JOURNALISM
The Sun’s own readers criticised the publication over the line of questioning, with one saying,
“He doesn’t owe the sun or their ghoulish readership any answers.”
Another blasted the two writers of the piece saying,

1) Tell people about it
The worst bullying of all came from a sport’s teacher (clichéd, I know but people often do behave in a way so tediously true to the expected norm). The belittling comments and name calling during sports lessons set a precedent. If it was acceptable for a teacher to call me ‘the poofter’ in front of the class then it was acceptable for everyone, surely? The resolution came when he blacked my eye (accidentally) by throwing an icy cold football at my face with velocity whilst shouting some retro homophobic name at me. Cue a minor inquiry and a partial resolution of his nasty behaviour (it was the ‘80s, people could get away with more bad stuff than now). It’s easy to see, in retrospect, that I could have made it end a lot quicker had I spoken out sooner to maybe my parents or a sympathetic teacher. At the time this felt terrifying and impossible but I realise now that I didn’t deserve this and that whatever I did to speak out then the moron couldn’t hurt me any more than he already was doing.
2) There’s safety in numbers
Take comfort in your allies and if possible, befriend the like minded. I’d tell 12-year-old Chris that he has a great bunch of friends who actually seem to like him and will stand up for him. I made friends with two other gay teenagers and that was an incredibly lucky thing for me. I was lucky that they existed and we got on. We’d hang out together and to our surprise, it was harder to bully three people than one. My loyal female friends were a support too. There was a memorable incident when a boy tripped me over on the way home and my female friend punched him squarely on the jaw. He didn’t cross me again for fear of her firm left-hook. Naturally, I wouldn’t ever advocate violence but I really wish I’d known before that my group of friends were so willing to take no nonsense whilst I was prepared to take so much.
3) What they’re saying is rubbish
Just because you have a crush on the singer from Duran Duran and like a good show tune doesn’t make you inferior. Whatever names they might call you are utterly irrelevant. The opinion of someone who terrorises someone due to his or her sexuality really doesn’t count at all. It’s worth less than zero. In fact, it’s worth less than that even. It needs a whole scale of its own; it’s so beneath contempt.
4) Look for positive role models
Not so easy in the 1980s but this is a bit easier now, hopefully. Even back in the bad old days of leg warmers and The Kids from Fame, there were strong positive people to look up to. It was a revelation to me, at the age of 14, to discover gay literature. I devoured books by Edmund White and Felice Picano and took a keen interest in historical figures like Harvey Milk who had fought so strongly for the cause. Pop music gave me idols too and Andy Bell and Jimmy Somerville were strong and unashamedly gay figures. These people taught me more about humanity and strength than any meathead sports teacher or vile acting teenager with an axe to grind.
I also found comfort from a local gay youth group and the local gay switchboard. I was amazed that other people understood what the strife I was going through and that I wasn’t alone.
5) Remember: You really are a lot more fierce and fabulous than they’ll ever be
Nothing to say about this on except: fact!
This is just my advice to myself and doesn’t apply to everyone. Bullying is a hard thing to stand up to and to get through alone. If you are being bullied because of your sexuality or any other reason, whatever age you are, then please get some professional help and advice.

Sunday the 16th October was apparently the horniest or loneliest day of 2016 (depending on how you look at it) with scores of people looking for new dating apps to try out.
Most people landed on our gay dating app review page at 9 AM (9.73%) in the morning followed by another search surge at 6 PM (7.9%).
Interestingly every Sunday THEGAYUK.com sees a surge for dating app reviews or news. Searches for our gay app review page peaked in the Summer (June) but the lowest search was the first week of April.
THEGAYUK’s editor Jake Hook said,
“It’s clear that app dating is here to stay for a while longer yet. We saw a brief dip in online searches during November, but by December searches had climbed another 6 percent.
“People are obviously searching for love on the internet and we’ve found that early Sunday mornings and again in the evening are key times to search for and create new accounts on dating apps.”
