    Taking to Twitter controversial Katie Hopkins said,
    “An ex-UKIP homophobe. Ladies and Gentleman, the barrel has been scraped.
    #CBB As thick as he is deaf”

    Winston McKenzie entered the Big Brother house to a wave of boos after revealing that he would have to keep his back to the wall if there were any gay people in the house.

  • 10 Things You Did Not Know About Christopher Maloney

    Christopher Maloney first came to the attention of the UK during the ninth series of X Factor in 2012. The love of his nan and his coy and shy start endeared him to the general public.

    1) Christopher Maloney came out as gay in March 2013 three months after the final of X Factor. He came out saying, “Do you know what, I’m going to admit it – yeah.”

    2) He proposed to his partner Gary Doran in Egypt and posted it on YouTube. They’ve been together for over 7 years.

    3) He was just one of 5 out singers in the ninth series of X Factor, other gay and lesbian contestants included, Lucy Spraggan, Jade Ellis, Rylan Clark and Jaymi Hensley from Union J.

    4) His music career after X Factor hasn’t been very successful despite winning over a legion of fans on the show. His first single “My Heart Beings To You” failed to make it into the top 100 singles chart.

    5) Christopher has had a number of surgeries on his face, spending over £70,000 on cosmetic procedures. He said that online trolls had called him “Mr potato head” and that he couldn’t look at himself anymore. Reportedly he’s had hair transplants, a nose job, an eye lift and work on his teeth.

    6) He had his surgeries done in Poland and posted pictures of the aftermath of the work to his fans.

    7) He’s from the Merseyside and has opened his own Theatre and Drama Academy to nourish the talents of children across Merseyside.

    8) In his season of X Factor, he was portrayed as the “panto villain” with both Louis Walsh and Tulisa slamming his performance style as “cruise ship.” He said, “There’s always got to be a pantomime villain every year and it’s just unfortunate this year it’s got to be me.”

    9) He appeared naked in GT magazine in 2013. Oo err missus.

    10) He has a Bette Midler tattoo, lyrics of her song The Rose have been permanently inked onto his arm.

    The normally handsome and chilled Channing has let his hair down. Although It has to be said Channing Tatum’s Queen Elsa from Frozen looks a little tragic. Tatum channels his inner diva for his performance of “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen on the Lip Sync Battle on Spike.
    It looks as though Channing has quite away to go before RuPaul starts knocking on his door for a chance to be in Drag Race and he certainly doesn’t give Zac Efron a run for his money in the drag stakes.

  • Boy, Sets Himself On Fire Because Of Anti-Gay Bullying

    A 15-year-old student in India has set himself on fire because of anti-gay bullying after being caught being intimate with boyfriend.

    A student in Madia Katra, Agra, at the top of his class, set fire to himself after being caught by neighbours being intimate with a friend. He was relentlessly bullying and harassed the boy’s father has told the media in India.

    The unnamed boy dowsed himself in stolen diesel on Sunday and set fire to himself. Family and neighbours quickly put out the flames, but he sustained 40% burns to his chest and legs.

    Speaking to The Times Of India, the father said,

    “‘He is unable to speak properly. The doctors say he is out of danger but I will only believe it when my son will talk to me,”

    “The news spread and a some people started teasing and harassing him”.

     

    The father added,

    “Upset, he locked himself in the room for two days. He suddenly ran outside the house on Sunday afternoon and set himself afire by pouring diesel on himself.”

     

    Same-sex activity is currently illegal in India and holds a penalty of up to life imprisonment. In December 2015 Shashi Tharoor, a member of the Indian National Congress party, introduced a bill to decriminalise homosexuality. The house rejected the bill by a vote of 71-24. Tharoor is planning to reintroduce the bill.

    FILM REVIEW | The Danish Girl

    Oscar-winning Director Tom Hooper (‘The Kings Speech’) and Oscar-winning Actor Eddie Redmayne (‘The Theory of Everything’) bring us the life of a male Dutch artist who, with the support from his wife, becomes a woman, in the new film ‘The Danish Girl.’ ★★★

    Based on the book of the same name by David Ebershoff, ‘The Danish Girl’ tells the real life story of Einar Wegener (Redmayne) who never felt right as a man so transitioned into a woman, being one of the first known recipients ever of reassignment surgery. It was with the support of his wife and fellow painter Gerde Wegener (Alicia Vikander) that gave him the courage and hope that helped him through the transition to live the rest of his life as Lili Elbe. But the film portrays Einar’s transition and Gerde’s acceptance as a dull one, there are no real revelations, nothing exciting about the story, and even Redmayne’s performance is a bit under the radar. It’s Vikander who steals the movie right from under Redmayne’s corset.
    The movie tells us that Einar’s interest in all things transgender suddenly happened when Gerde asked him to fill in for a female model who didn’t show up for one of her painting sessions. So she asks Wegener to put on a dress so that she can finish the painting. Wegener likes the way it feels, but more importantly he likes the way he looks in it, and this suddenly awakens Einar’s inner woman. This takes place in 1926 while the couple was living in the liberal land of Copenhagen, though such things were not done, nor not even discussed back then. But with Gerde’s full support, and help, Einar starts dressing up as a woman outside of their house. Things get a bit more complicated when another man, Henrick (Ben Whishaw) takes an interest in Einar, who by this time has started calling herself Lili.
    Gerde is asked to go to Paris so that she can work for a local art dealer, and while her career flourishes, their marriage slowly dissolves. And a childhood friend of Lili’s, Hans (Matthias Schoenaerts) shows up and forms a complex triangle with the couple. And it’s not long before Einar goes ahead with the surgery.
    ‘The Danish Girl’ is dull. It’s not a sweeping European love story where love conquers all in the midst of one man’s gender confusion and one woman’s loyalty to such man. Hooper’s direction can’t bring Lucinda Coxon’s boring script to life. Not even the actors can accomplish this.
    Redmayne is good as Einar/Lili, yet there were times when I thought I was still watching him play Stephen Hawking. It’s his eyes, he blinks them quite a lot in this film, just like the way he did in ‘The Theory of Everything.’ However, ‘The Danish Girl’ is pretty much Vikander’s movie.
    She’s beautiful and emotional and accepting when the times call for it – it’s just as good a performance as Felicity Jones was as in ‘The Theory of Everything.‘ Vikander’s star is on a meteoric rise, having appeared in three films this past year (‘Ex Machina,’ ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.‘ and ‘Burnt‘). She’s currently filming the fifth Bourne Identity film with Matt Damon and Tommy Lee Jones and has two other features coming out in 2016. I was very disappointed that ‘The Danish Girl’ was not as good as I had hoped, perhaps it might be better to read the actual book, and skip the movie.by Tim Baros

    TV star Colton Haynes has signalled that he maybe gay via his official Tumblr account after a fan revealed that he was excited about Colton’s “secret gay past’.
    The Teen Wolf and Arrow star rather meekly, sort of came out after acknowledging that him being gay wasn’t a secret.
    The 27-year-old TV star was responding to a comment on Tumblr when he said that him having a secret gay past wasn’t really a secret.
    A fan excitedly wrote on Colton’s Tumblr;

    “when I found out colton haynes had a secret gay past i got so excited even though i know it makes absolutely no difference in my life”

    Colton responded by saying,

    “Was it a secret? Let’s all just enjoy life & have no regrets :)”
