    Former gay porn star dies,21

    A former gay porn star has died at the age of 21.

    Kyle Dean, a model for the Corbin Fisher and GayHoopla studios has died at the age of 21. He had appeared in over dozens of films for the studios during his time acting as a porn star.

    The cause of his death has not been determined however his death has been recorded by the Florida funeral home, Toale Brothers.

    On the 30th September a tweet allegedly sent by Dean’s roommate, Jefry pleaded to fan to help out with funeral costs saying, “you guys may know, in the early hours on [sic] yesterday (name real name removed) sadly passed away in a struggle to survive I’ve spent the last days mourning and trying to gather up fees for his funeral. Please donate as much as you can”

    Some of the comments under the Tweet have suggested that the call for funds was a scam by someone who has access to the star’s Twitter account.  The link on the GoFundMe site is no longer active.

    Dean died on the 28th September. His death could not be confirmed by sources as tweets sent on Dean’s account gave the impression that he was still alive.

    His obituary reads (identifying information redacted), “He loved to play football and physically train his body.

    (He) is survived by his parents, his half-siblings. He also leaves his grandparents. A “Celebration of Life” ceremony is being handled at the Toale Brothers Funeral Home”.

    However, his death has now been confirmed by Str8UpGayPorn.com.

    Aside from his appearances in porn Dean had been arrested numerous times on drug and burglary charges.

    I was saddened this weekend to hear that the dancer, teacher, actor, mentor and mime artist, Lindsay Kemp had passed away in Italy over the weekend. I was away at a festival and when a friend told me, we were both saddened. Others of our group didn’t know who he was.

    To me, he will also be a shining star. A man who without his talents, we wouldn’t have had such amazing dance interpretations by Kate Bush. On being given her first big advance from EMI, she spent it wisely with Lindsay Kemp and it was his mentoring skills that brought out the creative confidence in Kate. In an interview, he said that Kate Bush was very shy but gave herself away to the music when she attended his Covent Garden dance studio.

    To reciprocate what Lindsey had done, Kate dedicated a song to him called “Moving” from her debut album The Kick Inside and probably more so special in that it was the opening song on the album. 

    To listen to that song and having watched some of Lindsey’s work you are transported into interpretive dance and you can imagine the 2 of them falling into the music. 

    Kate Bush would come back to Lindsay for her 7th studio album the 1993 The Red Shoes where she would use Lindsay in the short video film of the accompanying film The Line, The Cross and The Curve where he would play the Guide into assisting Kate into singing back her three symbols from a very mischievous Miranda Richardson.

    So I’ve just sat down to watch “he Line, The Cross and The Curve again as a homage to the great Lindsay Kemp and despite Kate calling the film a “load of bollocks” I think it was rather special and only 1 of 13 things Lindsey has been in for TV or film. 

    He passed away after spending the day rehearsing. RIP Lindsey Kemp, my queen of the dance.

    The iconic singer, Aretha Franklin has passed away at the age of 76.

    This is a developing story.

    The icon Aretha Franklin has reportedly died, she was 76-years-old. It was reported a few days ago that she was “gravely ill”. The cause of her death is reportedly advanced pancreatic cancer.

    The singer who rose to fame during the 60s has had an enduring career that lasted well into her 70s. She is most famous for singing, “Respect”, “Say A Little Prayer” and “Natural Woman”.

    In 1976 she became the first woman to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

    In the 1980s she sang “Knew You Were Waiting For Me” with the late George Michael.

    In 2011 she showed her commitment to same-sex marriage by singing at the wedding of two men, Bill White and Bryan Eure.

    Franklin’s first album was recorded and released in 1956, but it wasn’t until 1967 that she enjoyed a chart success with the album, I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You. Her first number 1 single in the US was “Respect”. Her last charted song was “Rolling In The Deep” which was released in 2014, which got to number 47 in the US R&B Chart.

    The model, Zombie Boy has died, from an apparent suicide at the age of 32.

    Rick Genest, known professionally as Zombie Boy has died at the age of 32. He was found just days before what would have been his 33rd birthday.

    Most notably he starred in Lady Gaga’s music video for the LGBT+ anthem, ‘Born This Way’ in 2011. He was found deceased at his home in Montreal, Canada.

    It is believed that he committed suicide. There are no details at this time surrounding the cause of his death.

    Lady Gaga was one of the first to pay tribute to the model. Taking to Twitter she wrote,

    “The suicide of friend Rick Genest, Zombie Boy is beyond devastating. We have to work harder to change the culture, bring Mental Health to the forefront and erase the stigma that we can’t talk about it. If you are suffering, call a friend or family today. We must save each other”.

    “Science tells us that it takes 21 days to form a habit, if you are suffering from Mental Health issue I beckon for today to be your first day or a continuation of the work you’ve been doing. Reach out if you’re in pain, and if you know someone who is, reach out to them too”.

    Management for Rick posted a tribute on Facebook, saying they were “shocked and pained” by his death.

    “Rico was loved by all those who had the chance to meet him and know him,” said the post.

    “We received the unfortunate news at the beginning of the afternoon and members of the team have come to support his family and relatives in this dark and difficult moment.

    “We want to present our deepest condolences… Thank you zb for these beautiful moments in your company and for your radiant smile.”

  • Tab Hunter shared this wonderful coming out advice with THEGAYUK before he died

    Sadly, the iconic actor Tab Hunter died today aged 86, but he did share a heartwarming message with us.

    In 2015 we interviewed the director of a documentary film about Tab’s life as a Hollywood star, we were fortunate enough to speak to the man himself who gave the following piece of coming out advice.

    “For young people coming to terms with their sexuality today, all I can say is, be true to yourself. Geraldine Page once told me, (The press loved her. They hated my guts.) ‘If people don’t like you, that’s their bad taste.’ I needed to hear that, and I’d like to pass that on to all of you. Just remember… If people don’t like you, that’s their bad taste.”

    Tab Hunter didn’t come out as gay until later in his life. He came out in 2005 when he released his autobiography Tab Hunter Confidential: The Making of a Movie Star (2005)

    Tab died from complications of a blood clot in his leg that caused cardiac arrest. According to his partner Glaser, whom he had been with since 1983, Hunter’s death was “sudden and unexpected”.

  • Porn star Tyler White dies aged, 25

    Tyler White, who performed in BrokeStraightBoys scenes has died at the age of 25.

    Tyler White has become the second gay porn star to have died this month after, Dave Slick, 26, was found dead in Chicago.

    Tyler White, who described himself as “gay for pay” on his Twitter account, was found at his mother’s home in North Providence, Rhode Island earlier this month on the 5th June.

    A friend of White’s alleged that drugs could be a factor in his death.

    Damien Kyle, wrote on Twitter, “No matter how hard you try to show someone there’s a better life without drugs they don’t seem to care… it’s too hard to kick the habit and for that mindset I lost a really close friend of mine”.

    The star’s funeral took place on the 13th June.

    During his porn career for BrokeStraightBoys White had racked up 24 scenes with the studio. He began at the age of 21.

    Dave Slick who starred in films for gay porn studios, Falcon Studios has died at the age of 26

    The actor from Scotsdale, USA, who had starred in films for Falcon Studios, as well as cam-sex site Chaturbate, has died in Chicago, he was just 26-year-old. He was in the Chicago for the Exxxotica Expo convention.

    The Daily Herald reports:

    “The missing man was found unconscious and not breathing about 11:35 a.m. Friday in a bathroom on the 100 block of West Jackson in Chicago, police said. He was taken to Rush University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead”.

    Tim Valenti, Naked Sword and Falcon Studios president, said, “He was earnest and ambitious. This is a tragic loss.”

    Tony Dimarco, a director for Falcon said on Twitter, “It’s heartbreaking to hear the news of the passing of Dave Slick It’s really hard to process it all. He was a super sweet guy and kind soul. My deepest sympathy’s go out to all his friends and family. Gone too soon, you will be greatly missed.”

    The cause of his death has not yet been released.

  • DJ Avicii dies aged, 28

    DJ Avicii, born, Tim Bergling has died at the age of 28, his publicist has confirmed.

    The 28-year-old Swedish-born producer, who worked with the likes of Madonna, Rita Ora and Leona Lewis died in Oman, his publicist, Diana Baron announced today.

    In a statement, Baron said, “The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time.”

    Avicii’s anthems include “Wake Me Up”, “Hey Brother”, and most recently, “Lonely Together” with Rita Ora.

    Avicii once joked that he was gay on Twitter saying,  “Im not gay, my boyfriend is!” in 2015.

    Speaking about performing for gay crowds and gay rights in 2013 he told Gay San Diego magazine,

    “I have family and friends that are gay and it’s an important issue for me. I grew up in Sweden. So it’s really not that much of an issue in Sweden the same way it is for gay marriage in America. Even within the society in general, at least from what I feel growing up.

    “I’ve never had any friends being homophobic or never even heard any parents being homophobic. I’ve never even seen that. But in America, you still see homophobia. It’s getting better but you can tell that it still exists.”

     

    The cause of his death has not been revealed, but he was active on social media up until just three days ago.

    In 2014 he had both his appendix and gallbladder removed.

    The TV presenter, Dale Winton has died, from an, as of yet unconfirmed reason at the age of 62. He had recently returned to our small screens on his show, Dale Winton’s Florida Fly Drive.

    In a statement, his long-term agent Jan Kennedy said that he had died at his home earlier on Wednesday.

    Dale Winton is probably most famous for his stint as a daytime telly presenter. The programme, Dale’s Supermarket Sweep catapulted him to fame in the early to mid-1990s. The show ran from 1993 to 2007. After the programme ended he also presented, In It To Win It and Hole in The Wall. He’s also worked in radio and has appeared in various charity TV shows.

    Dale Winton came out as gay in his 2002 autobiography My Story. In the book, he revealed that he never told his mum that he was gay before she died from suicide, which it has been said is something that he regretted. Although he is gay, he’s not open about his relationship status. It is known that a break up of a relationship did cause him to suffer from long-term depression.

    The star had recently returned to TV for his show, Dale Winton's Florida Fly Drive

    Kennedy said, “While we know many will share this terrible loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time of grief.”

    She did not give details on the cause of death.

  • Pop star, Timmy Matley dies 36

    Singer from The Overtones, Timmy Matley has died at the age of 36.

    Out singer, Timmy Matley has died, at the age of 36, after a battle with cancer. A statement from the band said that the remaining band members, Lachie, Darren, Mark and Mike, was “heartbreaking”.

    “It is with the greatest sadness that we have to announce that our dear friend and brother Timmy has passed away. We know this news will be as heartbreaking for you all as it is for us. We appreciate your love and support at this difficult time. Mike, Darren, Mark & Lachie x”

    He was best known for singing the high notes in the band.

    He was diagnosed with stage three malignant melanoma in 2016, however, it’s not clear how Timmy died.

    Speaking to THEGAYUK.com in 2013, Timmy spoke about sexuality (three of the five members of the band were gay) stating, “I’m so proud of where we’re at and that we can, as a band, do an interview with you and talk about it first of all, and for there to be no mention about it or strategy at the label. It’s 2013 and we’re so comfortable in our workplace. To be who we are. We’re never told to be anything else but ourselves and I’m very proud of that. We never get any jip for it. When we first started I was a bit nervous.”

    X Factor winner, Sam Bailey who appeared with the band on their third album, Tweeted, “This is so very sad!!! What an amazing voice! Such a loss!!! Here for you guys x anything you need xx”

    Philip Schofield also paid tribute saying, “I’m so terribly sorry to hear this and sending lots of love to you all and particularly Timmy’s family and his many friends”

    The singer was due, along with his bandmates to go on tour in the summer of 2018. They announced the tour earlier in March.

    Together they released 5 albums, each reaching the Top 40, and sold over a million records in the UK.
