When asked if he was gay, the Bruno star replied,
“I’m 23 percent gay. We worked it out did the calculations. I’m 23 percent gay,” but added that the number tends to fluctuate. “There are times I go down to 17 sometimes I’m 31 depends on the situation. When I was doing Boratand I had the testicles at my chin I was at 31.”

Sam Smith has won “Best Original Song” for his Bond Theme, Writing’s On The Wall.
Sam took the opportunity in his acceptance speech to acknowledge the LGBT community and dedicate his song to the community, however misquoted Sir Ian McKellen, by say that no gay person had won an Oscar.
Earlier in the year Sir Ian had asked the question why no gay man has ever won Best Actor?
Sam misquoted Sir Ian, and said that no gay person had won any oscar of any sort, and said,
“If this is the case, even if it isn’t the case, I want to dedicate this to the LGBT community all around the world. I stand here tonight as a proud gay man.”
However a number of openly gay people have won at the Oscars, and indeed at least four have won in his category including Sir Elton John, Stephen Sondheim and Howard Ashman and Melissa Etheridge won an Oscar for her song, I Need To Wake Up, from An Inconvenient Truth in 2006.
Sir Elton won his Oscar for “The Lion King’s” Can You Feel The Love Tonight in 1994, which he shares with Tim Rice. Stephen Sondheim won an Oscar for his song “Sooner Or Later (I Always Get My Man)” in 1990 from the film “Dick Tracy”.
Howard Ashman won his Oscar for Beauty And The Beast in 1991.
Sam’s astonishing snub or lack of education in Oscar wins led Oscar winner, Dustin Lance Black to lash out at Sam on Twitter – suggesting that he stop text his Fiancé, Tom Daley.
