Piers Morgan is raging at Snowmen being called Snowpeople.
Someone, please adjust Piers Morgan‘s tie before he had a seizure. The Good Morning Britain presenter blasted a BBC presenter after she used the term “snowpeople” instead of “snowmen”.
Morgan went on a tirade on Monday morning against Children’s TV presenter, 20-year-old Catie Munning, who was speaking on her CBeebies show, Catie’s Amazing Machines when she said, “snow is amazing. You get to build snowpeople and go sledging.”
Piers Morgan, who has consistently railed against gender non-conformity ranted, “You don’t build snowpeople, you see, you build snowmen, we’ve been building snowmen for 10,000 years”.
10,000 years? Could someone please fact check?
No gender here. Snow figures don’t actually have any sex or gender characteristics… Free-Photos / Pixabay
He went on,”We, part of mankind, humans, build snowmen, Catie, you seem a lovely lady, whoever you are. You’re 20 years old, you present CBeebies,”
“They’re not snowpeople, they’re snowmen. Or as somebody put it here, one of the parents, ‘politically correct garbage.’”
Calm down dear… Who knew snowflakes could get you so hot and bothered.
Cameron Cole has been crowned king of Big Brother 2018, he is also the fourth LGBT person to win the reality show.
Cameron Cole.
Cameron Cole, who, came out during his time in the house said that he was “utterly shell-shocked” when he found out that he was crowned the winner, revealing that he actually thought he’d be out in the first week.
Speaking to the show’s host, Emma Willis, Cameron said, “I am completely and utterly shell-shocked. I can’t even put into words…I just can’t describe it. I never in a billion years did I expect that. I thought I’d be out the first week…I just didn’t think I’d be liked, I thought I was going to be irritating, annoying. I moan a lot….So I just didn’t think I was going to fit in. The Housemates have been incredible. They have been so incredibly supportive. It’s been the most incredible house.”
Cameron Cole looked tearful as he learned he was crowned king of the final ever series of Big Brother.
He added: “It was a dream to get in…I don’t know what to say…I got what I expected and a hundred times more in an unbelievably positive way…It was the most life-changing, incredible experience.”
Cameron Cole became the first male Big Brother UK contestant to come out as gay on the programme. The 18-year-old vlogger opened up about his sexuality with his coming out broadcast on TV on the 5th October.
He came out during a discussion with fellow housemate Lewis Flanagan. The reveal came after openly gay housemate Cian explained to other housemates, the previous night, that he had a crush on Cameron and would “eat him alive”.
Cameron Cole looking shocked as Emma Willis walked him through his time of the final series of Big Brother in the UK.
He follows in the footsteps of Brian Dowling, Nadia Almada and Luke Anderson, all who identify as part of the LGBT+ community. Brian Dowling became the first gay man to win (during the second season) while Nadia was the first transgender winner. There have been no Lesbian or openly bisexual winners of the show in its 18-year run.
Four in 10 over 50s have experienced age discrimination, according to a survey.
(C) BIGSTOCK
A study of 50,000 Brits aged over 50 found one in 10 have felt ‘isolated’ and left out of team bonding exercises, social events and meetings at work.
And 62 per cent believe they have lost out on jobs due to their age.
One in 10 have even faced negative remarks about how old they are from their colleagues or manager.
Government to consider whether ageism could be considered as a hate crime.
The study was conducted by SunLife as the Government announces a review of whether hate crime offences could include ageist attitudes and behaviour.
It also found that as well as experiencing age discrimination themselves, almost a third have witnessed someone else being subjected to it.
SunLife director of marketing Ian Atkinson said, “Age discrimination and ageist language continues to be a challenge for many people.
“The average age in the UK is higher than it’s ever been and there are more people over 50 in the UK – around 24,440,415 – than ever too.
“So, it’s disheartening to think that in 2018 so much ageism still abounds.
“It’s also very odd to see how some people discriminate against a group they hope to one day join.”
Fifteen per cent of those polled also claim to have experienced discrimination in the health sector by being refused referrals because of how they old they were.
A further one in five believe they have experienced discrimination at the hands of their insurers, being landed with higher rates due to their age.
And this figure increases to one in three, once people reach 75 years or older.
Underrepresented in the media
(C) ITV – Vicious from ITV was one of the very few television shows which featured a gay couple over the age of 50. It has since been cancelled by the TV company.
The research also found a vast swathe of over 50s say they are under-represented in TV shows and films, with two-thirds believing there should be more older people on the box.
Seventy-two per cent of those surveyed think the representation of their age group in the media is negative, and gets worse the older you get.
And 59 per cent feel ignored by brands and advertisers.
More than a third of respondents believe their demographic isn’t catered to properly by the fashion industry, 24 per cent feel ignored by tech brands and around one in six feel neglected by health and beauty firms.
However, despite perceived ageism in the UK, 78 per cent ‘couldn’t care less’ what others think of them since turning 50.
And after hitting the age milestone, around six in 10 say they enjoy life more and believe it gets better the older you get.

JAMIE. Cor, that name takes me back. I can’t quite remember when he was in my life. Let me just ponder for a moment. I’ve got a feeling it was back in 2015.
That was back in a time when I had quite an addiction to Grindr. At one point, I thought I was going to need therapy to wean myself off the app. I’ve since deleted it as Grindr gets right on my tommys these days.
But one night, I think it was a cold winter’s night in February 2015, I was just finishing work and I fancied a bit of jiggy jiggy and a glass of wine. So, I turned on Grindr and waited for a ping.
When I was an avid Grindr user, I would never initiate a conversation. Call it fear of rejection or whatever you like. But just as I was taking a sip of Savvy B, a message pinged up.
It was a very handsome man, in his late 30s and he lived in Weybridge. My antennae started whizzing around. Oooh, I thought. An older man is just what I need. He’ll be mature and experienced, I thought. And he lived in Weybridge. So I assumed he would be rich, even more appealing.
Before you could say blow job, Jamie had invited me over to his gaff for a glass of Savvy B. Which we all know is secret code for sex. Well, maybe not so secret.
Pardon the pun, but when I walked in, he really blew my mind. Along with something else.
It felt different with Jamie. For anyone not in the know about Grindr, you normally walk straight through the front door and then, more often than not, you head straight to the bedroom.
But not with Jamie. He already had a glass of plonk waiting for me and told me to take a seat on the sofa. We actually got on really well and I could feel my heart skip a beat as he looked at me as we laughed.
After two glasses of Savvy B, he came in for the kiss. Obviously, it would have been rude of me not to reciprocate. There was a real passion in the way he kissed me and before you could say anal, he had dragged me into the bedroom. Not that I needed much dragging.
I pulled down his trousers and I nearly fainted. He almost had my eye out. His penis was already fully erect so as it escaped from his flies, it came at my face like a coiled spring. I had to dodge it otherwise I fear I may have been blinded in my right eye.
And I hate to be crude, but my word, it was rather large. I do believe I could have used it as a canoe.
As I stripped off my clothes, I saw him lean over and open his bedside drawer. When I saw him pull out a pair of handcuffs, I think I turned white.
Everyone who knows me well, knows my complete obsession and love of the well-known TV show The Bill. But I didn’t know how I felt about being handcuffed to a bed.
Before you could shout, “Arrest that man!”, he had handcuffed me to the bed and I actually found it quite exhilarating.
After an hour of passionate lovemaking. I call it lovemaking as, contrary to popular belief, I am really a hopeless romantic. After the deed was done, he released me from the cuffs and I kissed him goodnight. As I drove away, I hoped he would ask to see me again.
A few weeks went by and we had started to see each other on a regular basis. Although it was only for sex. I become quite accustomed to being handcuffed. I used to scream, Next Time on The Bill!
We never left the house together or went to a restaurant or anywhere in public actually. It was just sex. But I had started to fall in love with my fuck buddy. Oh shit. What a big faux pas.
On numerous occasions, I begged him to take things to the next level.
“Why don’t you take me out for dinner?” He would always fob me off when I asked that question.
“I’m tired.” Not too tired for sex, I used to think. Not that I was complaining, it was very passionate and I enjoyed it.
One day, after quite a few months of handcuffed lovemaking, I insisted that I would be round on Monday when he finished work, to cook him a lovely home cooked meal. If he couldn’t take me out for dinner because he was too tired, I would bring the dinner to him!
I gauged his reaction and considering he’d never tasted my cooking, I could tell he wasn’t keen on the idea. And then he came out with it.
“I think you want more from me than I want to give you.”
OH. My face dropped. Obviously not literally. I’ve had far too much botox for that to happen. But you get the picture.
“But you keep asking me back”, I was ashamed at how needy I sounded.
“Yes, but I just want sex.”
Heartbroken. I walked out of his flat, taking my half drunken bottle of Sauvignon Blanc with me. I felt no desire to share my expensive New Zealand wine with that bastard.
A year had passed me by and Jamie hadn’t entered my thoughts in a while. Until one day, when a message popped up in my inbox.
“Do you still do beauty treatments? I need my eyebrows waxed please.”
My first thought. You cheeky bitch. But then, I thought of the money. What did I have to lose?
I turned up at his flat, armed with my wax strips. I lay him on my beauty couch and got to work on his bushes that housed his eyes.
Strip after strip, he yelped out in pain. I decided he wasn’t worthy of my usual gentle touch I normally use on my clients. I was quite enjoying inflicting some pain on him.
“WHOOPS!” I suddenly screamed out. He shot up from the couch and looked straight in the mirror. He looked horrified as the realisation dawned on him that he had a rather large chunk missing from right in the middle of his brow.
Feigning complete innocence, I pulled my best sorry face that my botox would allow.
“I’m so sorry. It was a complete accident.”
Needless to say, he never made another appointment.
Old Compton Brasserie, in Soho, is in a space that’s been a bit of bad luck for previous tenants. Leon, the healthy food chain, lasted only a couple of years. Next it was Muriel’s Kitchen, which was a light and lively mama’s style restaurant with comfort food – but at high prices, perhaps this is why it didn’t last. But Old Compton Brasserie will more than succeed. Why? Because it’s fabulous!
Old Compton Street is one of the few streets in London that is constantly busy. With its plethora of bars, restaurants, shops, and a few adult retail businesses, it’s never been a place where it’s hard to find somewhere to eat.
Old Compton Brasserie is the new kid in town, sandwiched between two Balan’s Restaurants, and right next door to Cafe Nero, where the same people linger every single night for want of nowhere else to go. Old Comptons Brasserie is the place to go, designed to a high standard, and the minute you walk in you will feel, see, and hear the excellent vibe that emits, not just from the front bar, but also from the back where people are happily eating and socializing in an environment that is cool, hip and fun.
But, you might ask, how is the food? It’s actually fantastic! From the starters to the mains and the desserts, everything was almost perfect the night me and a friend went. It was at 8:00 pm on a Thursday night and the place was jam-packed! Every table was taken, and every customer in the place was happy happy happy. And after eating the food, we understood why.
The Kedgeree Scotch Eggs were just to die for. It was a Scotch egg in a beautifully-breaded crust (with peas mixed in) where every bite was just delicious (and at only £5.50 – an excellent deal). This dish was recommended to us by the lovely Samantha our waitress and she was right on – we loved it. The Tempura Prawn Taco was also very good, and it was served on top of a tortilla and included shreds of carrots, celery, onion with vinegar and mayonnaise slathered over, and for £8.50 it’s a big starter. My main was the Pressed Pork Belly – a perfectly cooked long strip of pork served over colcannon mash, with a dollop of applesauce on the side. The pork was – cooked medium well, along with the mash – was on top of a sea of gravy, and every bite was delectable – it was just superb – and at a superb price of £14.00. Fabulous! My friend decided to have the Steak Frites – by far the most expensive dish on the menu (£28). We tried to figure out why it was so expensive. Could it be because the quality of the 10-ounce steak was brilliant? Or because of the huge amount of chunky chips (not frites) or the delicious bearnaise sauce? Who knows why it cost so much but my friend enjoyed every bite! We also ordered sides which were really not necessary but it was more so that we could taste more items on the menu (surely you don’t blame us)! The Roasted Field Mushrooms and the Heritage Tomato Salad were both just about perfect – with the mushrooms perfectly cooked, and the salad topped with onions and chives in a delectable creamy dressing.
How could Old Compton Brasserie get any better? Well, the desserts we ordered were delectable and delicious. My five star Strawberry Trifle was a winner – a massive glass dish with strawberries, crushed nuts, toasted walnuts and of course the trifle layered beautifully inside – it was divine. My friend had the Lemon Posset – a pudding-esque lemon dish that he enjoyed, but it was my trifle that was the winner.
Old Compton Brasserie cleverly offers a ‘Faces of Soho’ cocktail menu where cocktails are named after people who were/are known to be ‘denizens of Soho’. Paul Raymond, Soho Pam, Francis Bacon and Ronnie Scott, among others, have drinks named after them. My friend had the Ruby Venezuela – which was berry vodka, rhubarb & apple Juice, rhubarb tea and prosecco Le Dolci Colline, with a swig of candy floss attached to the side. It was quite subtle, unlike the drag queen, it’s named after. There is also the Regina Fong, which is served in a disco ball – one that I will have to try on my next visit. Most of these drinks are £10 and under. I had an espresso martini. At £10, the glass was a bit small, but it was refreshing and perfect.
The establishment recommends wine with the main courses, and ours, selected by the wine waiter, went very well with our meals. The Red Le Petit Syrah (from Spain) was light and woody, while the Pinor Noir went well with the steak.
Old Compton Brasserie has food for everyone, from plant-based mains to fish and seafood to hamburgers and sandwiches and salads – all at very affordable prices, with a wine list that any restaurant in Soho would envy.
When we finished our meal after 10:30 pm, the place was still rocking and very buzzy, with more people coming in (the after-theatre crowd). It looks like Old Compton Brasserie is here to stay – an excellent restaurant that’s in a perfect spot for a perfect night out.
There are calls to make Alan Turing the face of the new £50 to serve as a “painful reminder of what we lost.”
Public Domaain
The Bank of England has invited members of the public to vote on which figure should appear on the new £50 note.
Former Manchester MP John Leech led a nearly decade-long campaign to pardon Alan Turing, gaining immense public support from legendary physicists such as Stephen Hawking.
During the campaign, Mr Leech submitted several bills to Parliament saying it was “utterly disgusting and ultimately just embarrassing” that the conviction was upheld as long as it was, and celebrated the posthumous pardon.
At the UK premiere of a film based on Turing’s life, The Imitation Game, the producers thanked Mr Leech for bringing the topic to public attention and securing Turing’s pardon.
Supporting Turing for the new £50 note John Leech said, “It is almost impossible to put into words the difference that Alan Turing made to society, but perhaps the most poignant example is that his work is estimated to have shortened the war by four years and saved 21 million lives.
“And yet way he was treated afterwards remains a national embarrassment and an example of society at its absolute worst.
“Placing Turing on the £50 note would at least go some way to acknowledging his unprecedented contribution to society and science.
“But more importantly it will serve as a stark and frankly painful reminder of what we lost in Turing and what we will lose again if we ever allow that kind of hateful ideology to win.”
Twenty-seven-year-old actor Jake Borelli came out via Instagram the same night as his character on the show Grey’s Anatomy.
Jake Borelli, took time on Thursday to write a heart-warming message on social media after his character, Dr Levi Schmitt, on the long-running TV drama, Grey’s Anatomy embarked on a same-sex love story. The actor wrote how he “craved” as a young person, storylines like the one his character is involved with and hoped that the character would bring hope to others.
Taking to Instagram the star wrote, “As a gay guy myself, tonight’s episode was so special to me. This is exactly the kind of story I craved as a young gay kid growing up in Ohio, and it blows my mind that I’m able to bring life to Dr. Levi Schmitt as he begins to grapple with his own sexuality this season on Grey’s Anatomy. His vulnerability and courage inspire me every day, and I hope he can do the same for you”.
Borelli continued, “To all of you who feel like little Levis out there, know that I do too, that you are seen, and that we’re all in this together. And to everyone who has supported me over the years, I can’t thank you enough, and I love you more than all the stars…”
The actor also spoke to Entertainment Weekly about opening up about his sexuality, saying that he was already out to his wider circle of friends and family, “I’ve been out to my friends and family for almost 10 years now, but within the last couple of months of shooting the show and really getting to know this character and seeing the response, I’ve realised that this is becoming bigger than just me,” he told the outlet.
“Within the last year or so, I’ve been given the opportunity to speak on a much larger platform. With that opportunity, I am able to come out to a much larger group of people”.
The post was liked 25,000 times over 12 hours and the actor received scores of supportive messages from fans.
Some of our favourite celebrities have named their Johnsons – or had them named by fans…

It’s not unusual for guys to give their penises names, but some of these names are just plain unsexy… Channing Tatum, we’re looking at you doll. Now, most guys probably just plump for a run of the mill name, with “little” in front, but some have gone for dessert names, infamous racists and one has gone for the world’s largest mammal. The mind boggles.
Love Island’s Marcel revealed the name of his peen to girlfriend Gabby Allen when he apparently waved it to her in the bedroom and introduced her to Rocky B.
During the candid interview of sorts, one excited fan asked, “Does your penis have a nickname?” To which the Magic Mike star replied, “Gilbert”.
Justin Bieber
It wasn’t Justin who came up with this name, but his fans. Apparently, they named him Jerry, the singer told The Sunday Times Magazine, “The fans named my penis ‘Jerry’, which is funny.”
Hunk Hugh explained on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, “I don’t know why I call him Old James Roger, but that’s what I call him. They always seem old to me. Even from a young age, they look old. You know what I mean?”
Harry Styles
Tinie Tempah. Hummm… Supposedly, it’s “’cos it makes girls pass out…” make of that what you will.
Jackass stuntman Steve-O has a rather respectable name for his cock. It calls it Julius, which he’s done since he was a teenager – according to Playboy.
I first visited Malta 14 years ago and remember myself and my friends trying desperately to find a gay scene and left extremely disappointed as you could imagine as an early twenty-something would in a fruitless search of gay nightlife in the winter sun. The visit in 2004 was in the same year that Malta had its first Pride March an event to which no more than 50 people attended and so my interest was piqued when Allied Rainbow Communities announced the 2018 Malta Pride Parade & Celebration taking place in Valletta, the European Capital of Culture.
Time to give Malta a second chance.

5 LGBT facts you might not know about Malta
It is a little-known fact that Malta ranks as the leading country, before even The UK and Belgium, regarding how the laws and policies of the country positively impact on the lives of LGBT+ people.
Discrimination regarding sexual orientation, gender identity and expression in Malta has been banned nationwide since 2004.
Malta is one of the few countries in the world to have made LGBT+ rights equal at a constitutional level.
In 2016, Malta became the first country in the European Union to ban conversion therapy.
Despite being a liberal country, Malta is extremely limited when it comes to exclusive gay venues.
There are a few places that are indeed worth checking out for a stay on the island, the best two I have included here.
The Phoenicia in Valletta has to be one of the finest places to stay and is probably only designated as a 5 Star hotel because they don’t allow you to go up to 6 stars and it is the best of both worlds in many respects. It is traditional in its decor and style yet offers ultra modern facilities and excellent service. It is to be found just outside the City Gate, the main entrance through the cities awe-inspiring 16th-century bastion walls and surrounded by acres of manicured gardens and vibrant greenery.
But despite the feeling of being slightly separated from the hustle and bustle of the city most of the best restaurants and exciting sites in the capital are within easy walking distance. Inside the building retains the members club style that betrays its British, early 20th century origins and the rooms are suitably spacious to match with plush beds and an overall fresh, summery feel. After a recent, overdue revamp, the food in the Phoenix Restaurant is back up to its 5-star standard. Seasonal menus offer a mix of local and traditional, and obviously, well-represented seafood. If like me you are on the island for the Pride event then this is the perfect place to use as a base as the march’s starting point is at the Grand Triton Fountain, literally a stone’s throw from the hotel. Or at least a glitter bomb.
Although rated as a 4-star hotel, you could make a straightforward argument for it becoming a 5-star without any extra effort. It is situated at the heart of Valletta making it pretty much 5 minutes walk from, well, everything – St John’s Cathedral, Grand Master’s Palace, museums, bars and restaurants and for exploring further Ferry and Bus Station are all close at hand. The building has a fascinating history, and if you know where to look, you can read its past in the walls.
Although most of the original 1580’s building didn’t survive the bombing of the Second World War, what did remain has been incorporated into the modern architecture. One fascinating fact is the name of the building, deriving from the fact that The Knights of the Order of St John who ruled the island were obliged to send the King of Spain, Charles V, a trained falcon as part of an annual fee. It was in the neighbourhood that this hotel now stands that the famous Maltese falcons were breed and trained. Today’s building is spacious to the point of palatial, the balconied rooms reminding you of its rich history with its mix of ancient and modern, reverential yet run with a welcoming and friendly attitude. The in-house restaurant offers some beautiful Mediterranean flavours which change with the availability of seasonal produce.
It’s all about having Pride.
Now, of course, we come to the reason I had decided to return to the island. In keeping with Malta’s Gay Pride March being less overtly raucous and flamboyant, I took a more holistic approach before the event and visited local TV celebrity Adrian Gusman – one of the only LGBT trained and qualified therapists on the island – who in a spirited manner, converted his home into a spa sanctuary for men. Adrian’s treatment ranges from creative bodywork underwater to jet massages and all while sipping on Rose sparkling wine. Truly an indulging experience at a surprisingly inexpensive cost (treatments with Adrian start from 50 euros).
Malta’s Gay Pride March is an example of how to include people from all across the gender, sexual and political spectrum. The event is still about driving a message of acceptance and equality and the fact that both the island’s Prime Minister and the opposition leader attended and members of the Catholic clergy used the event to help build bridges with the LGBTQ community shows how things are moving in the right direction.
And maybe it is the tastefulness of it all, the fact that it wasn’t about overt sexual displays, flamboyant fetish wear or extreme outfits to shock passers-by. Nor was this about consumerism something which has taken root in too many similar events. This was about Pride and progress, as shown by the fact that everyone from toddlers to ageing visitors was happy to take part in this respectful, modest, lively and thoroughly wonderful street party.
Researchers who polled 2,000 UK adults found millions are turning to their mobile phones to express these sentiments to friends and family rather than in person.
Other common ways of saying ‘I love you’ include using Skype, Facebook and Instagram.
Further to this, just three in 10 ALWAYS say ‘I love you’ face-to-face – with a fifth unable to do so because their loved ones live in another city or country.
The research was commissioned by Thorntons to mark the launch of its ‘Continental Journeys’ competition [https://www.thorntons.co.uk/continental/journeys.html] where they will reunite families who can’t be together over the festive period.
Spokesman Ian Tweedale said, “It’s not about what’s under the Christmas tree, but about who’s around it.
“Our Continental Journeys competition is helping families to ‘Pass The Love On’ this Christmas, by bringing together loved ones who, for whatever reason, can’t be together during the holiday season.
“We’re also proud to be passing the love on to the charity SSAFA, which supports our servicemen and women, veterans and their families.”
The research also identified the ‘true’ meaning of love – including accepting someone’s imperfections (47 percent) and being comfortable when sat in silence together (36 percent).
Travelling long distances to see one another (13 percent) is another indicator of genuine love, as is saving the last chocolate (7 percent) and warming up the bed (six percent).
Being quiet in the morning as you leave the house (five per cent) is also a sign of true affection.
Only 44 percent of people say I Love You to their partner every day
It also emerged 44 percent of Brits say ‘I love you’ to their partners every day.
And four in 10 also tell their pets they love them on a daily basis.
In contrast, just 12 percent say those special words to their mum each and every day.
Instead, 30 per cent say the ‘L word’ to their parents once a week and 27 percent say it to their friends at least once a month.
The research, carried out through OnePoll, also found saying ‘I love you’ too much devalues its meaning – according to four in 10 adults.
TOP 10 – TRUE MEANING OF LOVE:
Accepting a person’s imperfections
Being comfortable sat in silence with each other
Travelling long distances to see each other
Calling/messaging when you say you will
Saving your loved one the last chocolate from the box
Taking your partner out for a meal
Surprising your partner with a holiday / trip away
