Hate work… You’ll probably recognise these signs then…
You arrive exactly at shift start and leave exactly at shift end.
Time was when you arrived 15 minutes early and left way after the end of your shift. Now you’re like “nah”.
Emails and calls are not read after 5:00 PM.
That shiz can be left for another day. I don’t care if a report needs to be handed in at 9 AM tomorrow morning. It’ll have to wait until 9:15 AM when I’m in, at my desk and drinking my first cup of coffee.
You don’t bother to put on your OOO…
I’m outta here. Not spending another minute working out technical stuff.
You do put on your OOO but direct people to someone who is also OOO.
Annoying right? This is my life.
You give co-workers evils. Even when they are looking at you.
I hate you. Even your breathing offends me.
Work socials are out of the question.
Why oh why would I spend another minute with you people.
Time goes by so slowly… especially when your boss asks you to do something…
Tick tock.
You know how to just get by without being fired.
Imma gonna do just the least I can do…
You spend most of the day on Expedia planning the dream holiday.
One way trips are looking mighty enticing
Your mutual hatred of your boss keeps you in close company with other rebels at your work.
You’re living on hate and the tank is full.
You’ve stopped being polite at meetings.
I mean what’s the point. You’re all going to ignore each other anyway.
Cutting corners is the cornerstone of your work ethic.
It saves time and heartache and who really cares anyway?
Your job has basically become searching for other jobs.
CVs written and rewritten and being sent as I type…
Redundancy has become your main career goal.
Please, please please.
You watch Apprentice and dream oh you dream…
Basically, I could do better and Lord Sugar looks like an easy boss compared to mine.
Dressing for success is a made up 90’s fallacy that you no longer adhere to.

Office politics and drama is all you live for now.
What’s in your bedside drawer? Is it full of random stuff? You know, the kind of stuff that you just don’t know what to do with? Clear it all out and make sure you have these 9 essential items in your nightstand.

Condoms
There’s no point in having your condoms in the bathroom in a completely separate room from where all the action is happening. Make sure your condoms are right in grabbing distance. Even better so that you don’t ruin the flow of your night put them under your pillow. Also, don’t forget to stock some non-latex condoms. Some guys may have a negative reaction to latex.
Even if you’re in a long-term relationship and don’t use condoms anymore, it’s always good to have some in stock if you both decide to have a third/fourth or fifth round. Make sure any rubbers you have are still in date.
Lube
And don’t just have one type of lube. Have a variety. As they say, variety is the spice of life. Depending on what you’re doing you might need different lubes. If you’re using condoms make sure you’re using silicone or water-based lubes, if you’re going bare you might prefer a more oil-based or buttery lube. If toys are your thing you should use water-based lubes.
The gay man’s Kama Sutra
Want to up your bedroom game? Get this book to give you ideas and some insightful tips on new positions. Wow your partner with some new moves with the gay man’s Kuma Sutra.
Breath mint
Worried about morning breath? There’s nothing worse than breath can peel the wallpaper off from fifty feet. Pack some mints in your bedside drawers. Then pop one in first thing if you’re planning for a morning bonk.
Pad and pen
Ever wake up in the mid of the night with the world’s most amazing idea and completely forget it by the morning? Keeping a pen and pad by your bed is key to collecting all those midnight memories. Also if you’re not sure you’ll remember the name of the person you’ve just gone to bed with you can always jot it down!
Glasses
If you need glasses keep a set by your bed, especially if you like reading or watching TV last thing at night. Also, comes in very handy if you need to get up in the middle of the night to pee.
Some toys
Sex toys deserve to be placed near to where the action is going to take place. That way you can seamlessly integrate them into your sex life.
Come rag
Yep. When the business is done, don’t go searching high and low, have a rag on hand to clear up all the mess. Also can be great to have a cloth or scrap of material to place used toys or condoms on ready to clear up in the morning.
Bio-Oil
I know this a random choice, but it’s a perfect night oil for your face. Wake with softer more youthful skin. This is a grooming product I absolutely swear by.
2016 has been a year that will go down in history as one of the most seismic of all time. From the election of Donald Trump to the UK voting to leave the EU, from the Pulse nightclub massacre to the continued persecution of gay men by ISIS.
There have been many stories that have and will continue to impact the gay community for decades to come. Here’s are just some of the top stories from the past 12 months.
January
David Bowie dies. The year starts with the unexpected death of David Bowie. 2016 would go down as one of the most shocking years for celebrity deaths.
Milo Yiannopoulos is unverified by Twitter. The controversial right-wing commentator is unverified by Twitter. He would later be kicked off the platform altogether in a move many praised but other criticised Twitter for kerbing freedom of speech.
ISIS executes 15-year-old boy. He was murdered for an alleged affair with an ISIS officer. The officer was spared the death sentence.
British LGBT Awards gets a bashing on Twitter. The motives behind the awards were questioned by some after a number of “strange” choices for nominees were revealed including YouTuber Zoella, and Zayn for being allies.
Did you know that moobs – the man boob, is actually called gynecomastia in medical circles? According to the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine, it impacts around fifty percent of all men.
We share some advice to help you get rid of those man bumps that have been bugging you.
Lose some weight
Sorry guys but some weight loss is necessary if you want to see those man boobs disappear. After all, they are made out of fatty tissue. Depending on your body type you might not need to lose that much – half a stone – if you’re currently overweight could be the perfect start to seeing a noticeable reduction.
Cut out drink
Cutting back on alcohol can help you reach a moob-free existence. According to Drinkaware.co.uk, some pints of beer contain around 250 calories per pint – which is the equivalent of a small bar of chocolate. Meaning that in one night’s drinking you could be stacking on an extra 2500 calories. Ouch!
Alcohol can also reduce the amount of fat your body burns for its energy.
Drinkaware’s website warns,
“Our bodies can’t store alcohol. So when you drink alcohol your body wants to get rid of it. All of your body’s other processes that should be taking place, like burning fat, are interrupted while it does that.
“To burn off the 180 calories you’d find in an average pint of lager (4% ABV) a typical man would have to spend: 13 minutes running on the treadmill or playing football; 15 minutes cycling or 20 minutes swimming or half an hour on the golf course.”
Get your clothes right
If you’re looking for a more ascetic rather than fitness approach to hiding your chest maybe you could take a look at your clothing. Thinner fabrics will highlight the outline of your chest. So opt for chunkier fabrics like flannel or wool. Great for the winter time, not so good if it’s in the height of summer. Shirts are also good to hide a bigger chest rather than t-shirts. Opt for more rigid cuts using thicker material.
Get spanx
Not just for women, you know. Spanx has a variety of contour control garments like the Zoned performance V-neck t-shirt, which comes in black and white. Very slimming and gives you a great silhouette.
Exercise

Getting friendly with a bench press will help shape that chest to a more masculine form. Matt Plowman, nutrition and supplement advisor from Cardiff Sports Nutrition says,
“Mixing HIIT training with weight training and plyometric moves will enable you to burn more body fat. Reducing fat will restrict oestrogen (it’s) a great combination for this problematic area. You can reinforce these efforts by increasing the protein in your diet, this isn’t necessarily about taking protein supplements, although this helps, it’s about making smart choices to eat lean protein sources and green vegetables.
“Taking supplements such as Glutamine and Carnitine will also enable the body to burn fat more efficiently. We recommend taking a protein powder 30 mins prior and immediately after your workout to take advantage of the anabolic window and build lean muscle.”
He suggests the following exercises:
Push Up – You know what a push up is!
Plyo press ups – Get yourself into a press-up position, and lower yourself onto the floor, as you come up, explosively push yourself up powerfully so that your body and hands raise up off the ground – clap your hands as you are off the ground if you feel brave!
Elevated Push Up – elevate your feet using a bench or box, lower your down counting to 3, and raise yourself back up. Be sure that your back doesn’t sag at any point. As your strength increases, you can wear a weighted vest.
Deadlift – stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and place your hands on the bar shoulder-width apart too. When you start your arms should be straight and knees slightly bent, keeping your chest and head up, pulling up the bar, driving down through your heels and push your hips forward until you are standing tall.
Dumbbell Bench Press – Lie on a flat bench with your feet flat on the ground and a dumbbell in each hand using an overhand grip. Press the weights straight up driving your heels into the ground and lower them slowly.
Get medical
There are a number of medical procedures that are available to reduce and claim to get rid of your excess chest fat. There’s the VASER Liposuction which is performed at The Private Clinic of Harley Streetby Dr Dennis Wolf. In the treatment, which starts from £2,800, a patient’s fatty tissues are liquefied with ultrasound energy. The fat is then removed through a gentle aspiration process. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, while you’re still awake meaning that recovery time is much shorter. Dr Dennis Wolf has performed 1,800 VASER liposuction procedures.
Sometimes the runner up acts do better than the actual winner – actually, this is pretty much standard practice. We have a look at the X Factor runner ups to see where they’re today and how their careers panned out.
The classical pop-opera lads released four albums, with three of them being successful. They disbanded in 2007 apparently because they were “sick” of each other. An attempted re-band was made in 2015 when they released their flop Christmas album G4 Christmas. Only three of the original members performed on the album after Matthew Stiff decided not to rejoin. They lost out to Steve Brookstein.
Who can forget the Dustbin man turned pop star Andy Abrahams. He released 3 studio albums and a “best of” however only two of those albums charted. Andy can now be spotted on stage performing in musicals. He lost out to Shayne Ward.

Who could forget the platinum blonde Welshman. Losing out to Leon Jackon in 2007 didn’t harm Rhydian’s recording career having released five albums. The first two managed to achieve Platinum and Gold sales status. The following three managed to reach the top 40. Oh, and he got most of his clothes off when he played Rocky in Rocky Horror!
JLS are the only boyband to come runner up, but not the most successful one – that crown goes to One Direction who actually came third in series 7. JLS has a slew of hits including 5 number one singles. They also released four albums all of which entered the top 3 in the charts. They disbanded in 2013 and left fans with a compilation album called Goodbye.

After a bad breakup, having to start over and put myself on the market again after 6 years, I seem to have grown up a little when it comes to guys. Over the last few months, I’ve met my fair share of new men. Some have been good, some downright awful and some complete assholes.
CREDIT: Wavebreak-Media-Ltd-bigstock
Luckily for me, one guy, in particular, taught me everything there is to know about how to become a player. So I have come up with this short, fail proof guide for anyone who would just like to become an asshole in general or would like to play these ‘players’ at their own game. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em!
1. Use social media to your full advantage.
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Grindr. This will give you access to hundreds of guys without the bother of actually having to meet any in real life. Poke them, tweet them do what you have to do to grab their attention!
2. Pick your first victim.
Preferably one who doesn’t seem in the least bit interested in you! This will give you a real sense of achievement when you play them. Send them a message, be friendly and ask probing questions to gain information that you can then use against them at a later stage. Chat away, build rapport and pretend to be friends. Withhold information about yourself or even makeup lies.
3. Swap phone numbers.
Inundate them with texts, compliments and calls every day.
4. It’s now time to try and get your victim to fall hook, line and sinker.
Use buzz words such as hot, handsome, puppies, love, marriage, babies, forever and phrases such as ‘we just click,’ ‘I’ve liked you from day one,’ ‘settle down,’ and so forth. Suggest you are both looking for the same thing and are a match made in heaven. Manipulate them into thinking they must have been wrong about you initially.
5. If you have completed steps 1 – 4 correctly, this step should be easy and work a treat.
Suggest a date, somewhere original say like the zoo, dinner, a movie or maybe even a picnic in the park!
6. It is now time to meet your victim, do whatever is necessary to lure them into the bedroom.
Have sh*t sex, my suggestion would be to let them make you cum and then give them half a hand job, yes half don’t finish. This part is crucial. Don’t pay any attention to pleasing them. Who cares if they get off? Just make sure you do!
7. Proceed to ignore your victim.
At this point, you should already be at stage 3 with a new victim or if you are feeling super confident you could even try it with their best friend. You’re a player now kid!
And there it is ladies and gentleman! How to become a top class tool in 7 easy steps. Follow this guide meticulously and you are well on your way. You can even use it to play someone who wasn’t interested in you in the first place! Clever eh? Word of warning, though, karma is a bitch!
We are in the party season and if you’re anything like us you won’t be trying on just one outfit. Your bedroom will end up looking like a scene from Storage Wars with clothes thrown across the bed and discarded products cluttering every corner.

Well take a moment, breath and relax. Here we have ten top tips to keep you looking tip-top this party season.
1) Pocket Square
CREDIT: Rampley & co
It might not be the most obvious thing in the world, but a pocket square in the breast pocket of your blazer signifies a confident, sartorially inclined man. If you thought a pocket square was just a white hanky in your pocket think again. Luxury men’s outfitters Rampley & Co have pocket squares to suit the simplest to the most extravagant of tastes.
2) Suit and boot
The Christmas party can come in a number of guises, so work out what kind of outfit you’ll need to plan for. Is it black tie? Suit? Or is it smart casual? For most Christmas parties or social gatherings this winter a smart casual look will fit in perfectly. You can keep your jeans casual as long as you team them with a great tan brogue. Build on the look with a fresh, crisp simply patterned shirt, and finish off with a blazer with the aforementioned pocket square and you’ll be the talk of the party. For those colder nights, you could slip on a block-colour cashmere v neck jumper under the blazer. Don’t be afraid to try bold colours.
3) Trim that beard
CREDIT: NejroN Photo bigstock
Sorry hipsters, that beard has got to go. There’s only one man allowed to have a bushy face on the 25th and he arrives with reindeers. Go fresh-faced and watch the admiring glances from across the room.
4) Scrub-a-dub-dub
Feel and look your best by investing in a good exfoliant. You can refresh tired looking skin and reveal a youthful glow under all the dead skin cells that collect on the surface of your face. Don’t let winter take its toll on your visage! Take a look at our top exfoliating product list.
5) Get yourself a good barber
A visit to a barber is a definite must to complete the man about Christmas town. Investing in a good haircut is key to feeling great about how good and how polished you look. A good barber will offer a variety of different services from hot towels to manicures. Why not treat yourself to 211 years of grooming experience at Truefitt & Hill, London’s oldest barber shop and the world leader in men’s grooming
6) A splash of colour
Well, one does want a hint of colour. Even if your party requires an uber smart Black Tie look you can be totally subverting with your choice of sock. Check out these shocking pink Langham dress socks (£12.00) by Rampley & Co. No one will know unless you give them a peak of your ankle… Victorian is the new Millennium.
7) Cologne
Aftershave is utterly important for a Winterfest party. Have you ever had a man tell you how amazing you smell? It’s wonderful. The gay community has in the past favoured a few fragrances like Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male and Davidoff’s Cool Water, but Rihanna’s Rogue (from £26.82) is surprisingly seductive and Hugo Boss Unlimited (from £46.90) is sniffing up a storm here at TGUK HQ.
8) Man bag
Don’t clutter up the lines of your outfit with your phone, wallet or keys. Keep them all in a bag. In that bag, you should also pack, lip balm to protect your lips in the cold, icy winds, your aftershave, and a comb or hairbrush. The winter weather can play havoc with your skin so make sure you pack a good moisturiser with SDF, to make sure you’re protected from those winter sun rays.
9) Clean teeth
Pearly whites never go out of fashion. Check out our review of teeth whitening and dazzle your prince charming with the perfect smile.
10) Centre of attention
Don’t be a wallflower. Work out a story, a joke or subject that you feel confident talking about. Read up on the news and get a sense of what’s going on in the world. That way you can talk with authority about something and be a conversation leader rather than a follower. However, best to stay clear of divisive topics such as religious, politics or M&Ms Vs Skittles.
We love a hotel room. No we do. Fresh sheets, little bottles of product and a minibar on company expenses. What’s not to like but there are five things you should totally, utterly not touch in a hotel room.
Like ever. Especially if you don’t want to get ill.
The TV remote.
Want to turn off that welcome screen with that “relaxation” musak when you enter your room for the first time? You might want to get an anti-bac hand wipe before you touch that remote. Think about it. Hundreds of people have probably touched that remote – after they’ve been to the toilet, post sex – eek. Just disgusting. Given the fact that most housekeepers are given a ridiculously small amount of time per room to clean, the remote is often over-looked. Time and time again bacterial tests on hotel TV remotes have shown that there are often faecal residues left over. Yuck.
The bedside phone.
What’s better than a post-bonk midnight feast – apart from falling asleep. Chances are if you’re feeling peckish after a midnight booty call – yes, you’ve guessed it, people call Room Service, using that bedside phone. And they’re using fingers that have just been inserted somewhere very clammy and damp. Phones are teeming with bacteria, often blasting the acceptable limits of bacteria.
The blanket at the end of the bed.
Just imagine the number of people who have sat naked, had sex on it or put their luggage on that decorative blanket at the end of the bed. Apparently, it’s one of the least washed items in your room. So don’t touch. Just don’t. A report from CNN suggested that bedspreads don’t get ‘thrown in with the sheets for a daily wash.”
The thermostat.
Feeling hot? That thermostat on the wall is most probably overlooked during the daily clean of a hotel room. Big-name hotel chains usually give their rooms a deep clean every quarter. So in between those deep cleans think about the number of fingers that have touched that dial. There are up to 66 days in a quarter. If the hotel is operating at near full occupancy and there are two people staying in a room there could be well over 100 people touching that dial.
The sofa.
If you’ve sat on the sofa naked or even had sex on it then you can bet your life that scores of other people have to – and a sofa just isn’t that easy to clean, regularly anyway. Tests have shown that stains that aren’t visible to the naked eye are all over those hotel sofas and chairs. Those stains include: blood, semen and even faeces. Just. Why. Would. You.
Keeping toasty this winter doesn’t have to be a drab affair.

If you’re looking to get some approving looks from your peers then you’ll be wanting to make sure you’re making the right signs… The 15 signs of success in Britain have been revealed.
CREDIT: Alen-D / Big Stock
Although wealth is often regarded as the sign you have made it, seven in 10 UK adults reckon being content is the true benchmark of success.
Less than a fifth of respondents said being a millionaire shows you are doing well, while over a quarter said being charitable is a true indicator of prosperity.
Commissioned by accounting firm Mazars, the research of 2,000 UK adults also found just three in 10 Brits have some kind of plan in place to actually achieve success.
Ian Pickford, partner in Mazars’ private client team said,
“Our research shows that people define success in lots of different ways.
“Having enough money is important but it’s really interesting to see ‘being a millionaire’ and other materialistic definitions of success are way down the list.”
Treating people fairly, acting ethically and feeling fulfilled in life feature in the top 15 indicators of success – along with being financially secure and being debt free.
Having a personalised number plate, a gym instructor and eating in top restaurants are among the signs you’ve made it.
While having a happy marriage, being able to retire early and owning your house outright also indicate success.
Over a quarter of men are optimistic they will achieve success in life – compared to one in 10 women.
Half of those aged 18 to 24 years old are confident they will achieve what they consider success to be.
And of those polled, almost a quarter of over 55s said they had already achieved success.
Although as little as three in 10 Brits have a plan of how to be successful, half of 18-24-year-olds have mapped out how they will achieve their goals.
In comparison, just a fifth of those aged 55 or over have a plan in place to reach their life targets.
On average, people think they will retire at 62, although women think they will be working until they reach 63 years of age – and men think they’ll be able to stop working at 61.
Respondents aged 25 to 34 reckon they would retire the earliest – 60 years old – while those aged 18 to 25 and those aged 35 to 44 think they’ll retire at 64.
Only one in 10 people have used a financial professional to help them plan for a successful retirement – although four in 10 said it was something they would consider.
Ian continues,
“The results suggest people have a good idea of what they consider success to be, or not be, but most of us have little or no idea how we will get what we really want out of life.
“Only three in 10 people in the UK say they have a plan in place. This means millions are in danger of not achieving their life goals and being unhappy or unfulfilled because of their failure to plan.
“Failing to plan is planning to fail. Research shows the simple act of formulating a life or financial plan and writing it down makes it much more likely to happen.”

1. Being happy
