1) Is Jordan Banjo gay?
It doesn’t look as though Jordan Banjo is gay or bisexual. He’s never publicly spoken about his sexuality other than he’s known to have had a relationship with Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.
Being a dad is hard, being a gay dad harder; being a gay dad to a teenage daughter is mind boggling. This week it has mainly been about bras. Now as a gay man of nearly forty with a rapidly increasing waistline and a rapidly receding hairline the last place you expect to find yourself is in the teenage underwear section of M&S. My daughter has decided this week she needs support in a certain area.
The extent of my underwear shopping consists of logging on and ordering Calvin Klein 3 pack of briefs still in a medium, just.
The choice of colour is red, black or white but I have been known to push the boat out and buy some pink on occasion. Now I am thrust into this world of uplifts, padding and underwire. The choice of colour and styles is overwhelming as the aisles and aisles of bras stretch out in front of us.
At this point I think both me and my daughter are both feeling a touch embarrassed so I do what any gay man worth their salt would do and engage the services of the friendly female shop assistant. This would surely ease the tension all round and allow my daughter to be fitted with her underwear properly and allow us to exit in as short a time as possible.

After explaining why we are here I safely deposit my daughter with the shop assistant only to hear at earth shattering levels, “I am not putting a bra on in front of her!” Pulling my daughter aside I make clear there is no reason to change in front of the assistant she is merely there to help and ensure the bra fits.
Drama avoided, I take a seat in the men’s section and await the return of both. After what seems like an eternity they return with several items discreetly wrapped with nothing more for me to do than pay the bill.
We both have a sense of relief as we leave the shop. Bras bought and no more to be said on the subject. Or so I thought. On returning home, like any girl after a shopping trip, she disappears upstairs to try on her newly purchased items. Then the voice from beyond, “DAD! DAD! these bras don’t fit me.”

Social media users have blasted Apprentice hopeful Dillion St. Paul after making a comment about fellow contestant Karthik Nagesan’s business style.

In Thursday’s episode of The Apprentice, some viewers were apparently shocked by a comment made by Irish hopeful Dillon St. Paul. During the challenge, fellow contestant Karthik Nagesan had taken his time over a business deal to obtain a Lehenga at the lowest price. Karthik said that he would take charge in the negotiations because it was his “culture”.
However Dillon was less than impressed with Karthik’s style and in a to-camera interview said,
“Karthik’s negotiation technique is basically Indian chit chat. There was a lot of time wasted at the start. He should have just asked ‘Where is your lehenga? Can I see it?”
Some viewers took to social media to vent their disgust.

Last month judges at the Court of Appeal upheld the original judgement. However, the family behind the bakery is not satisfied and the family’s legal team have written to the Appeal Court judges in Belfast, “to consider giving a short ruling on the question of whether (an) appeal to the United Kingdom Supreme Court is available in this case”.
The McArthurs have insisted that the issue was never with Mr Lee’s sexuality, but with the message that he had requested on the cake.
Remember the gorgeous Danyl Johnson from X Factor?
Daniel appeared in the sixth series of X Factor in 2009 and actually did pretty well. He came fourth, losing out in the end to Joe McElderry. To jog your memory he was the contestant that judge Dannii Minogue sort of outed mid-season.
If you recall she was moaning that Danyl was using female pronouns during his performance of “And I Am Telling You” and suggested that perhaps he didn’t need to change the gender references in the song.
She told him,

Well, Danyl is now working for the People’s Postcode Lottery as an Ambassador and it’s his job basically to give people money! Speaking to OK Online in August he said,

In a late night rant about the prescription of PrEP the LBC presenter, Ian Collins, told listeners of his show not to have sex if their partner was HIV positive.
The Court of Appeal told NHS England that it is responsible for prescribing PrEP – a move which could cost £20 million.
PrEP is described as a ‘game-changing’ pill that, when used alongside condoms, testing and treatment, could help bring the beginning of the end for HIV.
Speaking on his LBC show Ian Collins said that the decision to fund a preventative drug for people who haven’t got HIV as a “scandal”.
“Critics have said at £400 per person per month, the drug treatment is too expensive and those in that high risk group should be encouraged to practice safer sex. Well just don’t have sex at all.
“We are funding a drug for people who haven’t got HIV, but as a way of protecting them so that they might not get it so they can still have sex with their partner and not worry about protection.”
He then went on to suggest that if your partner has HIV not to have sex at all.
“Love your partner, hug your partner, kiss your partner, do all manner of other things you can do with your partner, just don’t have sex. If your partner HIV positive, don’t have sex. There’s lots of people that don’t have sex for lots of reasons.”
Collins also stated that if you’re in a relationship with someone with HIV that you should “keep your pants on”.
“…you’re being asked to just simply keep your pants on. This is not a drug that is funding people with HIV. It is funding people without HIV so that they can sleep with people with HIV. That’s it.”
“We understand many people’s concerns with the cost of PrEP being free on the NHS. However, this will only be 0.02% of the total NHS budget for the year. The short term cost outweighs the long term as currently the lifetime cost for treatment of someone living with HIV equates to nearly £380,000. PrEP has shown to decrease new HIV infections by 18% in cities like San Francisco. A similar reduction in the UK, year on year, could save the NHS and the tax payer millions in the long term. Too many people are becoming HIV-positive and we now have a tool that can help stop HIV. GMFA believes that PrEP should be free to anyone who is at high risk of becoming HIV-positive. We need PrEP now.”
Ian Green, Chief Executive of Terrence Higgins Trust, said
“Every day the NHS delays access to PrEP, 17 people are diagnosed with HIV – and the lifetime cost to the NHS for each diagnosis of HIV is £360,000. PrEP must be prioritised and made available now to those at risk.
“There is still a long way to go before people at risk have access to this groundbreaking pill that will protect them from HIV – but thanks to today’s decision, we are a step closer to a world without HIV transmissions.”
