  • What does pansexuality mean? Who is pansexual?

What does pansexuality mean? Who is pansexual?

Pansexuals are all about “Hearts not parts”

Pansexuality, might not be on your radar as much as homosexuality or bisexuality, but it’s all-inclusive nature has got people falling in love with the sexual and romantic orientation that is pansexuality – which is, essentially hearts, not parts – you fall in love and lust with the heart of someone, not just their biological sex or gender expression.

We asked readers for their best description, here’s what one person told us

“As a 21-year-old pansexual male, I found that there was a lot of stigma that went with being pansexual and many people don’t understand/know what it means.

“To me, it’s different for different people, I personally think that in my eyes, gender/sexual-orientation does not count towards anything in the way of attraction and in the way of love. I believe that you fall in love with the person and not their genitals or what gender they are attracted to.

“I have dated various genders, various people with different sexual orientations and yes they have been very different partners and have been very different relationships however the one thing that is, all the same, is the feelings towards that person. The spark that I have felt towards each individual person and that feeling was not towards there genitals, it was towards them as people.

“My opinion of pansexuality is love.

What does pansexual and pansexuality mean?

    Another user, Alex, told us,

“Love without gender, connection without exclusion, and plenty of fish in the sea”

    and another, Eggy, wrote,

    “sexual attraction regardless of gender”

  • How to cruise for sex safely and is it legal in the UK?

Everything you need to know before you go out cruising in public.

What are cruising or dogging grounds?

Cruising Grounds are defined as open spaces where men look for sex with other men. They are also known as dogging areas.

These cruising/dogging areas can be parks, lay-bys, beaches and other public spaces. These are known as Public Sex Environments (PSEs)

Cottaging is looking for, or having sex in a public toilet – this includes any toilet which is open to the public such as Theatres, Service stations, Shopping Centres, Cinemas and Transport toilets.

Is it legal to cruise or go dogging in the UK?

There is no specific law against cruising in the UK. Sex in public places is NOT illegal as long as other members of the public cannot see you having sex – or are unlikely to come into contact with you whilst you are engaged in sexual activity.

Police do not have the right to stop and search you for being in or near a cruising ground, unless they suspect you have or are just about to commit a crime.

Police guidelines suggest that police should only respond to complaints made by the public and not to proactively prohibit men from cruising.

However, the police may introduce measures to stop cruising in an area, which Nottinghamshire police recently announced for a famous cruising spot in Mansfield.

Cottaging (having and looking for sex in a public toilet) is illegal in the UK, so using any of the listings on this site is entirely at your own risk.

You risk being arrested for cottaging if you are caught in a public toilet, even if you are having sex behind a closed stall door. It is still against the law and you risk criminal proceedings if you are caught.

In some areas of the UK police patrol public toilets which are known for cottaging.

What to do if you’re arrested while having sex in a public toilet

Always ask to speak to the duty solicitor at the police station before being interviewed or accepting a caution.

A caution or conviction will result in a criminal record for a sexual offence which you will have to disclose in any criminal record checks.

How to cruise/ go dogging safely

Your safety is paramount. Cruising grounds have been known to harbour individuals who would like to harm you. It may be wise to carry a rape alarm and to be extra vigilant, especially in the dark. You should get to know your local cruising ground, finding out the exits, dead ends and shortcuts.

If you take your car to a cruising/dogging ground, keep your valuables out of sight or leave them at home.

Always make sure you’ve brought plenty of lube and condoms.

You always have the right to say no to the sex you don’t want. Make sure you know your own boundaries and stick to them. If you find yourself forced into an uncomfortable situation move away or leave the area.

If you are attacked get help by calling out for help.

  • What is Docking and how do you do it?

What is Docking and how do you do it?

Docking or cock-docking as it is sometimes known is a great way of changing up your gay sex life – and best of all, it is totally gay! None of that heteronormative stuff – nope, you definitely need two cocks for docking.

In order to take part in docking one of the cock owners will need a foreskin – because essentially they will be placing their foreskin over the head of their partner’s cock head.

Or to put it another way, one guy puts the head of his dick into the other guy’s foreskin.

And voila. That’s it. That’s docking.

One of you will probably also need a foreskin that has a bit of stretch to it to achieve a full dock, although you can experiment with different types of erections. Some may find it easier to dock if they are semi-erect.

Can you dock without a foreskin?

Well, actually there is a way you can try docking if neither guy has a foreskin, but you will need some assistance from a masturbator, like the Linx Glacier Dual End Stroker Male Masturbator.

It is open-ended which means you can both put your dicks into the stroker and get a new and exciting sensation.

So what does Docking feel like? >>> NEXT PAGE

  • Nottingham’s police taking a “zero tolerance” approach to dogging and cruising

Nottingham’s police taking a “zero tolerance” approach to dogging and cruising

The police force in Nottingham are taking a “zero tolerance” approach after condoms, rubbish and a make-shift shelter were apparently found in Mansfield’s Thieves Wood, to the north of Nottingham.

The police were alerted to anti-social behaviour at the location upon investigation police say they found condoms and rubbish.

Police say that they are taking a “zero-tolerance approach” according to Nottingham Post.

Police Sergeant Kate Long said, “This is an area visited by families and used by many people in the local and wider community.

“Nottinghamshire Police will not tolerate people using this area for lewd activities.

No arrests… but measures will be introduced

Although no one was arrested or caught at the location, the police force says they are going to “introduce a series of measures” which they hope will prevent the area from becoming a busy cruising ground.

It did not reveal what the measures would be or the costs of such an operation.

Sergeant Long added, “We will be looking to introduce a series of measures in the area to prevent this activity and provide a safe, family-friendly area for all.”

Man attacked in “vicious and unprovoked” homophobic attack in London

The attack happened near Piccadilly Circus, in London, on the 3rd March at 2.15 AM according to a police report.

The victim, a man in his mid-thirties was walking towards Picadilly Circus Tube station to see if it was closed, he asked three men nearby if they knew if the station was open or not. The men then shouted homophobic abuse at the victim.

The three men, all in their early 20s, are said to have then approached the victim and pushed him into the road. Once the victim was on the floor the group proceeded to assault him, according to a police statement.

The victim managed to run across the road towards the Hard Rock Café. The three men followed him and attacked him for a second time.

The group then left the scene in the direction of Shaftesbury Avenue.

    “Unprovoked and vicious assault”

Investigating officer, Detective Constable John McNally, said, “This was a completely unprovoked and vicious assault on the victim, seemingly motivated by homophobia. Though thankfully not seriously injured, the victim has understandably been left very shaken by the incident.

  • British gay film, Gods Own Country had its sex scenes removed on Amazon Prime

British gay film, Gods Own Country had its sex scenes removed on Amazon Prime

One of Britain’s most touching gay movies, God’s Own Country was gutted of its sex scenes and now some people are calling on Amazon Prime to be boycotted, however, it turns out that the cuts were made by the film’s distributor, not the streaming giant.

The film’s creator Francis Lee raised the alarm on Twitter, when it was noted by reviewers on the Amazon website that some of the sex scenes had been removed.

According to one of the reviews, at least two key scenes had been cut, one which included an oral sex scene and another which included an encounter with a third person.

    Embed from Getty Images

Filmmaker Francis Lee initially took to Twitter to call for a boycott of Amazon Prime until he was given answers as to why the scenes were cut and that they weren’t showing the fil that he intended or made. He wrote,

Francis Lee@strawhousefilms Dear friends in USA, God’s Own Country appears to have been censored on @PrimeVideo (Amazon Prime). Until this is investigated please do not rent or buy on Amazon Prime. It is not the film I intended or made. I will report back

A few hours later he reported back, telling fans that after an investigation his film was not censored by Amazon Prime but by, he alleges, the US distributor, Samuel Goldwyn Films.

He claims that the distributor “butchered” the streaming version without consultation “to get more revenue”.

He added that Amazon Prime had been “incredibly supportive” in rectifying the issue.

Samuel Goldwyn films are responsible for distributing hit films such as Fisherman’s Friends and Supersize Me.

THEGAYUK.com reached out to Samuel Goldwyn films for comment.

  • Bobby Norris to give evidence to MPs over online trolling

Bobby Norris to give evidence to MPs over online trolling

TOWIE star Bobby Norris is about to give evidence to politicians over his petition to “hold online trolls accountable” for their abuses.

Norris has spoken openly and numerously on his horrific encounters with hateful trolls – many of whom focus on his sexuality and his looks.

He created a petition on the official government petitions site in 2019, and it gained over 133,000 signatures.

The petition, titled “Hold online trolls accountable for their online abuse via their IP address” calls for abusers to have their access to social media blocked by internet service providers and social media companies.

The evidence session, taking place during Mental Health Awareness Week, will see MPs speak to the reality TV personality about his petition on tackling online abuse. The session will also see Bobby discuss his personal experiences of homophobic abuse since first appearing in the public eye in ITV2 show The Only Way is Essex in 2012.

He will now talk to the Peititon’s committee over video link to discuss online trolling.

    Bobby is vital for awareness

Catherine McKinnell MP, Chair of the Petitions Committee, said:

“I’m pleased that Bobby is able to share his personal experiences of online abuse with the Committee during Mental Health Awareness Week.

“Highlighting these issues in Parliament is so vital for raising awareness, and can shine a light on the action that can be taken to help stamp out this all too common problem.

“Online abuse can affect anyone, and takes many forms. It is a subject that is very close to my heart, and something that the Petitions Committee investigated extensively in the last Parliament.

“But with online abuse as prevalent as ever, and Coronavirus meaning people are on social media more than ever, it is imperative we take steps to tackle online abuse and stamp it out.”

The evidence session is the first step from the Petitions Committee in their new inquiry on tackling online abuse. The inquiry will consider issues raised in a number of petitions from the last Parliament and follow up on the Committee’s previous inquiry into online abuse and the experiences of disabled people. More details on the inquiry will be announced following the session.

  • A woman in the US is suing gay people for being gay

A woman in the US is suing gay people for being gay

A 66-year-old Christian woman in Nebraska, US, is planning on taking all gay people to court to try and determine whether homosexuality is a sin.

Time.com is reporting that Sylvia Driskell, 66, who describes herself as an ambassador of “God, And His, Son Jesus Christ [sic]” is embarking on a legal challenge called “Driskell v. Homosexuals“, oh and she’s using just the bible and the Webster’s Dictionary as her only information source.

In her seven page petition to the court she writes,

“I never thought that I would see a day in which our great nation or our own great state of Nebraska would become so compliant to the complicity of some people[’s] lewd behavior,”

She also states, “that homosexuality is a sin and that they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet.”

According to the report Driskell will be serving as her own legal counsel.

    Yep. 2020 people. 2020.

  • A second chance for iconic Brighton LGBT venue

A second chance for iconic Brighton LGBT venue

According to the Legend’s website, the iconic venue is getting a second chance after it announced its closure last month.

Legends in Brighton is apparently hoping to welcome back new and old customers alike after seemingly being taken over by new management, according to a statement on the venue’s website.

In April, it was reported that Legends had entered into voluntary liquidation and had announced that it had ceased trading, however, a new statement released on the company’s website states the hotel and bar is “under new management” and hopes to invite new and existing customers back again soon.

The website also points to a brand new website which has very limited information on it.

The venue is unlikely to be open to the public anytime soon, as the UK’s is under lockdown conditions in order to “flatten the curve” of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hardship for many of the UK’s gay venues

Since the last week of March 2020, the UK’s LGBT+ bars and clubs were ordered to shut, along with many other “non-essential” businesses.

The order also included the UK’s community of gay saunas.

As it currently stands bars and clubs will not be allowed to open again for the foreseeable future, putting immense pressure onto the “gay scene”, which has already suffered a slew of closures in recent years due to ever-increasing rents in cities and generally falling footfall.

On May the 10th the UK’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, laid out tentative plans to reopen parts of the UK’s economy. The hospitality industry, arguably the hardest hit by the Coronavirus pandemic, will be one of the last to be reopened.

Some of the industry would be permitted to commence trading again on 4th July, but that was contingent on a number of factors, including keeping the number of new infections of COVID-19 down and the ability to maintain social distancing measures within the premises.

  • Bus company “rebrands” pride bus for NHS key workers

Bus company “rebrands” pride bus for NHS key workers

The rebranding has been blasted as insensitive and “deeply disrespectful”.

A transport company in Plymouth, Devon, decided to show its support for NHS key workers and their vital role during the Coronavirus pandemic, however, the results spectacularly backfired on social media after it published a picture of a “re-branded” pride bus, featuring the LGBT+ flag.

Plymouth Citybus decided that it would “re-brand” its Pride bus to an “NHS” bus leading to accusations that the current usage of the rainbow was an appropriation of an LGBT+ icon – the rainbow flag.

    https://twitter.com/plymouthbus/status/1261598471779430401

Unfortunately, the rebranding also happened to coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia, Bi and Transphobia.

During the pandemic, many have been using the rainbow symbol as a sign of hope and acknowledgement of the tireless work of key workers during the lockdown. However, there is a difference between rainbow designs.

The most famous and widely used version of the pride flag has six stripes, while other rainbow symbols have seven or eight stripes to them.

Worldwide Symbol for the LGBT+ Community

    rihaij / Pixabay

The rainbow flag has been a world-wide symbol for LGBT+ rights since the late 70s when designer and artist Gilbert Baker unveiled the rainbow as a symbol of hope for LGBT+ people.

Speaking of the flag’s importance, before he died, Baker said that before the rainbow the only symbol given to gay people was the Nazi’s pink triangle, he said, “no other international symbol for [the LGBT+ community] than the pink triangle which the Nazis used to identify homosexuals in concentration camps,

“Even though the pink triangle was and still is a very powerful symbol, it was very much forced upon us”.

Acusations of “deleting pride and appropriation”

The bus company was accused of “deleting pride” and using the bus for a “branding opportunity”. One user caused the company of “Rainbow capitalism and appropriation”.

LGBT+ advocate Tom Hayes said, “I understand what you were trying to do, but this is a pretty insensitive way of doing it. And on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia too?

“LGBTQ+ aren’t just a failed marketing campaign you repurpose. This is deeply disrespectful.”

    https://twitter.com/PositiveLad/status/1261985665409048578

Speaking to THEGAYUK.com a spokesperson for the Plymouth Citybus said, “The pride bus in Plymouth has been borrowed to show support to the NHS and fellow key workers. It is a temporary measure. We are working with Pride in Plymouth for a new 2020 Pride bus, to show our continued support. Plymouth Citybus is an inclusive company and represents the community it serves”/

  • Gay sex scenes are getting the nation’s hearts racing

Gay sex scenes are getting the nation’s hearts racing

Orange Is The New Black and Queer As Folk both appear in the top 10 of sex scenes that get the nation’s hearts racing.

Also included in the list of shows which have explicit scenes are Shameless and Sex Education both of which have a high proportion of gay sex.

Social distancing can be dull and uneventful, so many people choose to get their excitement from the fictional world. In fact, series like Normal People provide exactly that; a good storyline, interesting characters, and loads of raunchy SEX! Which plenty of us are missing at the moment, let’s be honest!

With that in mind, experts at OnBuy.com were curious to see which TV series are the most heart racing. To find out, they gathered 1,807 eager respondents and ask them to watch multiple sex scenes from different TV shows while wearing a Fitbit. The average heart rate of people watching those scenes was then used to measure which series is the hottest!

    RESULTS

The winner of the hottest TV series contest is none other than Orange Is the New Black. In fact, the average heart rate of those watching the sex scenes was 101 BPM. Porn site viewers also agree, as the sex scenes from OITNB uploaded on Pornhub gather millions of views. One compilation video in particular, showing all the nude scenes from the show, has over 5.4 million views!

In second place is… Shameless! In fact, those watching the series experienced a BPM of 96. The show is also very popular on Pornhub; the most popular video showing a compilation of the actors doing the dirty has gathered over 2.4 million views.

    Swords, dragons, and… SEX!

Third on the list is none other than the fantasy drama that got us all talking… Game of Thrones.

The show which broke our hearts while boosting our libido! Respondents found their BPM rose to 95 while watching raunchy GOT scenes. Plus, while only third in our chart, the show wins the title as the most popular TV series on Pornhub, where over 11 million people gathered (separately, from the comfort of their own rooms) to re-watch a compilation of the hottest scenes.

    Law of Attraction

In 4th place, we find our favourite bunch of lawyers, the actors from Suits, who managed to raise the BPMs of our respondents to 93. Scenes featuring Meghan Markle in Suits have gathered over 344,000 views on Pornhub!

    Normal People… Outstanding sex!

Tied in 4th place is the most spoken about sultry show of the year, Normal People. There are many reasons why this show is great: it’s educational, open-minded, and it raises the heart rates of people watching it to an average of 93 BPM!

Another, very educational show, that gets both our brains and “bits” buzzing, is Sex Education. So, if you are looking to spend your evening learning something new while enjoying a BPM of 91, this is the show for you!
