Ahead of the RuPaul’s Drag Race finale this week (already!?!) here are the queens who have had the most successful music careers since leaving the show.
Leave Drag Race – release a single. So many queens have trodden this path after starring in RuPaul’s Drag Race, but not all are successful! But for those who are, the spoils can be great. The head queen herself, RuPaul has released a whopping 11 albums, but which of her gals has had the most successful music career outside the show?
An open-topped bus took pride across the UK’s most southern county, Cornwall.
The world’s first pride tour took place in Cornwall this weekend, taking in 11 towns and cities across the UK’s most southerly county.
Stopping off at Wadebridge, Launceston, Bodmin, St Austell, Truro, Falmouth, Heartlands, Hayle, Marazion, Penzance and Newquay, the touring pride allowed thousands of people to take part and witness the pride event. Some of the towns, like Bodmin, had never hosted a pride event before.
The tour bus took off just after 9:00 AM in Newquay and returned over 12 hours later.
The UK’s largest flag was unfurled on the beach in front of St Michael’s Mount in Marazion.
In all, the tour took over 11 hours and covered over a hundred miles across Cornwall. At each the UK’s largest pride flag was unfurled and everybody who was in the vicinity was invited to fly the flag.
Jake Hook, the Editor and Chief of THEGAYUK.com who were invited along for the day said, “It was such a privilege to join Nathaniel and Mathew and the rest of the wonderful Cornwall Pride team on this, the first Pride tour. It’s a brilliant idea, that allows for people who aren’t able to travel to one centrally located pride, which could be miles away, a way to celebrate pride closer to home. The motto of the day was definitely, ‘if you can’t come to pride, pride will come to you’. It was breathtaking to see so many people waving the rainbow flag and getting into the spirit of pride, no matter how they identify”.
Cornwall Pride’s official pride is to take place on the 25th August 2017. To find out more visit their website.
Tyler White, who described himself as “gay for pay” on his Twitter account, was found at his mother’s home in North Providence, Rhode Island earlier this month on the 5th June.
A friend of White’s alleged that drugs could be a factor in his death.
Damien Kyle, wrote on Twitter, “No matter how hard you try to show someone there’s a better life without drugs they don’t seem to care… it’s too hard to kick the habit and for that mindset I lost a really close friend of mine”.

World Cup fever is officially upon us and we’re finding ourselves casually enjoying the sight of 11 men running around a field, hugging and kissing each other.
Who is the biggest on the pitch?
Plus, sometimes you get to see what we’re calling the Louis, (that’s the no-undies-jiggle). Why do we call it the Louis – check out why here.
Anyway, the World Cup is basically just one big sausage fest with a leather ball thrown into the middle of it. It got us wondering, which nation has the biggest package.
Pure thoughts. I know.
Luckily the good people at Hims made us a chart. It’s easy to read, print out and laminate. Apparently, according to Hims, this is so fans can compare players, tactics and well a new stat – their penis size.
So from the 32 qualifying nations, it seems that the guys in Columbia are the monsters on the field, with an average whopper which measures 6.7 inches followed by the lads in Iceland, which inches in behind on 6.5 inches.
We have no word on how Hims measured these stats, but we’re totally engrossed. We haven’t studied this hard since Home Economics GCSE.
So who was at the bottom of the table?
Coming in last was Japan, who measured at 4.3 inches and South Korea who measured at 4.6 inches – which is not to be sniffed at.
We’re no size queens here.
So where did England fit? British lads come 23rd in the line up with an average of 5.5 inches – sandwiched between Poland (5.63 inches) and Spain (4.45 inches). Dreams.
Check out the measuring up table below.
Now you’ll be able to watch the matches, armed with that little extra info you need.
If you find yourself at a loose end and just don’t know what to watch, here are five LGBT or camp classics on the streaming service NOW TV for you to enjoy.

So how do you get one? When’s the best time to ask? We asked two experts for their thoughts.
Sinead Bunting, VP of Marketing Europe of job search site,Monster told us, “Asking for a pay rise is similar to your initial salary negotiations; however, once you’re in the job and have been doing it successfully for a while, you’re going to be in a stronger position. Most companies will work hard to keep good employees, as the cost in time, recruitment fees and the handover process make losing a valued employee bad news, however with businesses under pressure to continuously manage costs and overheads, making a solid business case is essential.”
Okay, we’re with you Sinead… so how do we broach the subject?
According to Sinead certain moments are more naturally suited to asking for that all-important addition to your wardrobe fund, like during your performance review or the end of the calendar or financial year can work just as well. However she warns, “don’t ask more than once a year as you’ll come across as unrealistic, if not greedy in your boss’ eyes”.
Sinead suggests booking in time with your boss and prepare for the meeting thoroughly. “Compare your salary against similar jobs being advertised at the moment, or use an online salary calculator. The stronger the case you can present the better your chances of getting what you want. Use every possible advantage to help weight your case, including any recent achievements or additional training, qualifications or skills you have gained. Don’t forget to mention soft skills (attitude, teamwork, good time keeping etc.).
Sinead also suggests, ask for more than you expect to get. It’s a negotiation after all – but don’t go too high. “Let them know you’re willing to take on more responsibility in return for extra money. Don’t rush things, but do ask to be kept up-to-date with how your request is progressing. Expect some resistance and be prepared to fight your corner, but don’t overdo it. If the cash you want is not available, be prepared to ask for additional benefits such as a company car or an increased employer’s contribution to your pension scheme”.
Rob Moore best-selling author of the #1 book ‘Money, Know More, Make More, Give More’ and the man behind the current UK’s #1 business & lifestyle podcast ‘The Disruptive Entrepreneur’ hinted that you should play the victim, saying, don’t “tell your employer that you can’t cover your bills and you don’t have enough to live on, or to pay off your house and car. Employers don’t care about that and will only see that you can’t manage your money. They can also feel emotionally blackmailed, which has a high chance of backfiring on you”.
“I’ve another job waiting”
Also, even though it’s a bit of a negotiation Moore says that saying that you’ve got another job in the pipeline might also backfire on you. He revealed, “It goes very bad very quickly if a staff member plays off the new employer versus the existing one. As soon as I am used as a pawn to get a pay rise because the new employer is offering more, I’m out.”
Also don’t ask for a pay rise because you’ve heard on the office grapevine that someone else got a pay rise. Rob tells us, “This never works, at least not for me. It’s none of anyone else’s business what others are paid. Why would anyone increase someone’s salary just because they increased their colleagues’ salary? That’s not sound logic or financially smart. This also erodes the trust of discretion. An employer’s big fear is that when one person asks for a raise, everyone does. It can stop it from raising salaries of people who deserve it. So always be discreet and never use this as leverage to get a raise”.

(C) MET POLICE
Investigators have released a picture of a person they’d like to talk with in connection to an alleged assault on three passengers on board a London bus.

We’re going to say it’s a no from us, but it’s forging ahead and in the movie, he’s playing a super rich gay con man. Billionaire Boys Club is set in the 1980s and is based on a true story about young men, who happen to be rich AF, getting caught up in a Ponzi scheme, which actually sounds like a good film – sort of a Wolf Of Wall Street thing… but yeah, but no.
The 20-year-old star was born in Vancouver BC in Canada. He was born on the 13th December 1997, which makes him a Sagittarius.
Is Daniel Doheny gay?
Often when an actor plays a gay part, there’s a certain amount of questioning around that actor’s sexuality. However, Daniel has never spoken openly about his sexuality. Actually very little is known about the actor’s private life. He did, however, speak about his time in high school and dating, revealing, “I had enough on my plate in high school just trying to figure out how to date the people I wanted to date and not being able to. It’s such a mess. It’s a muddy, confusing, emotional time, I wanted to have sex as much as possible but I couldn’t get anybody to do it with me”.
The article does allude to Daniel identifying as a “straight kid”.

Two years ago, a lone gunman entered the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida and opened fire. He killed 49 people and wounded dozens more.
On the 11th June, the popular Latin night at Pulse was in full swing. Pulse was a well-known LGBT club standing around a mile from downtown Orlando. That club has now become world-famous for the terrible atrocity and the events that would unfold well into the early hours of the 12th June. The attack would become the deadliest mass shooting by a single shooter in the United States.
That night, around 320 people were packed into the club, they were dancing, drinking and watching the entertainment. The night was just about to come to an end as last orders were announced at around 2:00 AM (the early morning on the 12th). At 2.02 AM the gunman entered the building and began shooting indiscriminately and holding terrified patrons hostage for hours before the siege was ended at 5:05 AM when police enforcement and a SWAT team stormed the building.
Dozens were killed and many received life-changing injuries.
