In this epic love story, Alex, an American, meets and falls in love with Ali, an Iranian. When the Islamic revolution erupts, Alex is forced to leave Iran and Ali. But the two men keep their relationship alive through letters, phone calls, and emails. After 35 years, they reunite in Istanbul but their plans are turned upside down when an emotionally painful twist changes their lives forever.
