According to TMZ, Singer’s lawyer, Andrew Brettler said that Cesar Sanchez-Guzman filed for bankruptcy a few years ago, but was able to discharge all his debts.

Cesar Sanchez-Guzman is using the same legal representation as Michael Egan III, an aspiring actor and model who also accused Singer of sexual misconduct. Egan’s had been looking $75,000 in damages for each of the charges – which were listed as battery, assault, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The case was withdrawn from the court by Jeff Herman. Jeff Herman is also representing Sanchez-Guzman.

Singer’s Lawyer added, “The attorney behind this lawsuit is the same lawyer who represented Michael Egan, the convicted felon who sued Bryan Singer in 2014.  In the end, Egan was forced to dismiss that case once the facts came out and his story completely fell apart.”
